SLP 4.4.28 (pre-release being worked on ) has a new method for trying to set the path that is supposedly better at following symlink installs.
According to our SaaS development team (international based WP gurus) this works in the plugins they’ve developed so it should not cause any new issues; however with 20,00 active sites it may break something for someone.
Lance would like to invite you to test 4.4.28 pre-release when it becomes available.CiciKeymasterHi ENEOS.
I reported to developer and he is looking at a rev for that style. In the meantime you can easily change the layout or css I have added screenshots and directions below.
First a few notes:
You are not using the latest versions of ProPack or Tagalong. I would update ProPack and tagalong as soon as possible since it is going to become a legacy product once Power Add-on is released. Check here for the Versions
Also, Tagalong will not be compatible with the SLP 4.4.27 if it was never updated. Version 4.1. is pretty old. to remain compatible you should update all your add-ons.
The Clean White style was built with a specific WP theme in mind for a customer a long time ago. You can try other styles that would show the results the way you want but if you do not want to do that there is an easy fix or you can wait for the REV of that style.. Since you have both ProPack and EXP, you can accomplish it in either way”
The fix:
1) EXP add-on allows you to change the results Layout. I selected “Clean simple white” for style and saw the same results but I then modified under EXP/Results/Results layout box, by adding the simple html <br> after directions and the hours will go to next line.
I also deleted the slp_contact portion of the span class where that line is added with the slp_results_hours for that style since I did not have any contact info in that line
Save settings.
The developer is updating the CLEAN WHITE STYLE (REV02) , with his development of the POWER add-on It has not been fully tested and is based to work with the Mazznoer Clean Simple White WP Theme.
you can request a copy of the CSS and style to save in your CSS directory (drop in your store-locator-le/css/ directory )to test it out. It is too large to add to this forum , if you would like to use it and see if it works for you send an email to info@charlestonsw.com or support@storelocatorplus.com

1) Yes if you are that specific with your “center map at ” then you would need to show a larger radius under EXP/Results : At Startup , Radius to show initially and number to show initially. (since Florida is larger than 75 miles).
2) If you are searching from your desk in OK it still shouldn’t be returning OK locations on your FL map, I only see one map with drop downs so I am not sure if I am following you. I am in SC and when I searched FL it only showed locations in FL . If you have Location sensor on then you may want to search as a test incognito.
I previewed your link and selected from the drop down, the map for FL and selected 1000 miles from drop down and it returned locations in FL. I do not know how many locations it should be showing. But that seems to be working. It did not show me locations outside of FL .
3) Check your “Order results by” setting…if you select closest to.. then it would show the results closest to the center map at, if you have 25 results in Florida and your center map at is FL then you would want to select under EXP/Results 25 locations.

4) Have you turned on discrete search in Enhanced Search? Article about Discrete Search Note the layout in back end UI is different, the discrete filter radius behavior is now called Do Not Use, not “”ignore radius”. You should set do not use radius if you are using the discrete search

If you want to play around with settings and not disturb your staging or current site, you can use the Demo , it has Experience add-on installed in the demo along with ProPack and Taglong. The layout may look a little different since you are using Legacy Enhanced addons.

You do not need to update the Legacy packs at this time. There will be no additional enhancements and eventually they may not work with a to be released newer version of SLP 4.5. (Date of release TBD)
They will continue to work within the framework of the original purchase and be compatible with the 4.3 and 4.4 versions of SLP. We appreciate your support through past purchases.

I know you mentioned all your plugins are up to date, but we often find that people think they are on latest versions and are not.
Could you please provide a screenshot of your Plugin Environment? As the support interface (so the developers can concentrate on development ), I need the information. If I add it to their troubleshooting list , Lance will ask me to find out “what versions, what is their site URL, what version of WP…etc…etc.

CiciKeymasterAre you able to send a screenshot of your Plugin environment showing your Plugin versions and your configuration? Are you on the latest versions of SLP? What other add-ons are you running?
I am not sure how much help we can do on this end if you are having server issues. Are you on a shared host for instance? See the Troubleshooting documentation that provides you with a few plausible examples of issues that can occur.
There is a new version of Janitor out there was an issue with Janitor not saving the resets. Make sure your plugins are deactivated when using Janitor and Upload the most recent version

CiciKeymasterI am not adept at Pages but I believe that you would need to use some widgets that would be on your WP Theme. I am not sure where you are planning to add them. Without your plugin environment and site url (read before posting guidelines) I really cant make any suggestions… If you have seen it somewhere else please post that link as well and be specific as to what you want to be displayed. That feature is s basic tool tip controlled by Google. (One short line of simple text.)

I am glad you added the screenshot of your plugin Environment, this is why we ask for it before posting…Actually, the only thing you do have updsated and current is the base SLP plugin
First:
You need to download the Experience addon that replaces ALL the Enhanced addons and Widget pack. As a premier subscriber you are not charged any additional amounts for the EXP add-on.
You MUST download the EXPERIENCE add on to 4.4.07 or above before updating the base plugin to 4.4.27. This is not the normal way of doing it but for those people who did not Upgrade to Experience when it was released will have an issue when updating SLP.
Pages is on 4.4.03
ProPAck is on 4.4.01
Tagalong is on 4.4.01
Social Media is on 4.4.01

Also if you look at the INFO tab in your SLP admin panel you will see the blogs and posts and news on the right hand side, they are usually posted when an important update or release is made.
CiciKeymasterThe author/developer would like to know what your configuration or set up is/was since we haven’t seen this exact issue before. You haven’t provided your Plugin Environment in your post.. It is difficult to assist if a poster does not provide the information requested in the Posting guidelines (i.e versions and site url.) SLP also has a free Janitor add-on that can delete locations and reset as well . I have not seen any WP Locator plugins that have free bulk file imports.
CiciKeymasterIf you cant get to your Locations page you might have a setting in the SLP admin UI panel under locations , i.e.” the no. of locations per page to display too high”. You might need to use Janitor to reset, but since I do not see any pictures about your plugin environment, site url etc…I do not know what you are referring to…..please provide information as requested in POSTING Guildelines. The screenshot does not show me anything. It could be your server, I have no idea.
Bob, you may be annoyed but unless you provide information as requested in two sticky notes at top of forum i.e. the POSTING GUIDELINES, (READ BEFORE POSTING) , as explained, you need to provide information about your plugin , your site url, etc….we are also “dead in the water” as far as helping you which is not out intent. This is a question we ask people over and over again which is why we have made it a sticky note at top of forum.
Bob, if you read posting guidelines, “glomming” onto someones post with a “me too” isn’t very useful information for us. The other person who posted first could have a number of different configuration on his site, WP versions, SLP version, different WP theme…and multiple other plugins that may effect any number of things. So unless you are sitting next to him and see the same setup it may not be the same issue. See Troubleshooting You will see a lot of information as to why and what can break your plugin or your site or SLP.
If either of you would like assistance you need to provide the information requested in the POSTING GUIDLEINES, at the very least your PLUGIN ENVIRONMENT.
If you need to use Janitor Read the JANITOR documentation on the product page, there are also helpful texts in the plugin itself. it is free. Make sure your SLP plugins and ADDONs are deactivated first and that you have a back up, if you need to delete locations. If it is just an issue of not seeing locations loading under Locations page in the back end….try this:Attachments:

That is not a functionality of Store Pages (never has been), and isnt practical within the dichotomy of WP.
You can have a separate locations page that shows all the locations/ results under a map (as shown in the videos and that will have directions link because your Locations Page (not your Store Pages) will have the SLPLUS shortcode on it… specific store page creates a new WP Page pulling in text fields from the extended data locations fields.
Pages a is creating a Post type Page not a search form.
. The way the regular directions works on the base Plugin , it redirects (queries) to Google Map based on the locations latitude/longtitude . if you have location sensor turned on or allow the GPS location sensor, then with Google you could actually say hey show me how to get there….

You can try to fool around with coding to add directions but it is not included in the regular Store Pages Add-on.
There is another person who fooled around with coding to get directions on a store Page (nothing else just directions) and it is now not working specifically because the way WP codex is set up now with ref to htmls and shortcodes.Hope this helps.

Please note that the WP themes plays a larger role in how responsiveness behaves. Some SLP Plugin styles are more responsive then others, Try different combinations

CiciKeymasterCould you provide me additional details as to what you changed if it is a bug I want to make sure Lance is aware of it. That was fixed before, but the multiple versions of add-ons (Legacy) and new EXP requires him to code and fix lines sometimes in both add-ons now. (unless it is unique to your site) thanks

I do not understand what you are asking but no it wont change any styling, the check boxes are on/off (you can look at Extended Data Manager to see what controls what and if it is Boolean,Integer or text)
You can also emulate the functions using shortcodes.
The hide map until search will show a search form but without a map under it until someone enters whatever into the search form. At least it does on my site. I tested both Hide Map until search and show image until search, it also works in conjunction with the Results, Disable initial directory etc. If it is not behaving that way, please ensure your versions are updated and /or see if your theme is interfering in anyway or use the debugger. I have not seen any recent reports concerning the hide map function
CiciKeymasterThanks for letting us know it is working, I fooled around with it on my site and then realized some of my settings were off. If you could rate us (five star would be wonderful) on WP as well that would be great. Someone left a bad review of one star saying that we did not get back to them and didn’t provide support unless spaid for, We always answer forum questions and do not ask for paid support unless developer has to troubleshoot and login. Really would not like that black eye on reviews…If anyone is unhappy with the product or support they can always email us or post here and we try to respond quickly.

CiciKeymasterUnder the Bulk action there is delete permanently, then hit the “Apply” and a message box pops up asking are you sure you want to delete permanently
When you select Delete Permanently and Apply. they are gone. Attached are Screen shots of the three actions, I took. I deleted “my town and Odessa Martial Arts…you can see on last screen they are deleted.
What version of Store Locator Plus base plugin and WP do you have installed? Could you provide your Plugin Environment information (see posting guidelines)
I just tested delete on my site and it is working , I have SLP v 4.4.26 installed and ProAPck 4.4.01.Attachments:
