We sent the coupons via Mail chimp. there is no way to send it through the plugin admin box. The Info news was visble at the time and announcements were shown under the SLP News field. It is not shown in the admin box any longer as people were not reading the News logs and it was taking up too much “real estate”
Sorry your email box was bogged down. that happens sometimes, we do not continue to send multiple emails as people do not like being hounded. If plugins are not maintained or checked by the administrators of the WordPress site, updates can be missed.

Do you have a back up of your site and somewhere someone can log in? Are you using a staging site or do you have a virtual site that the developer can look at? Please send the info to contact us with login credentials , make sure you have backed up your site.

Unless you are referring to a staging site, I cannot define your issues, nor recreate them on my test site

WHEN I LOOK AT YOUR SITE AND WHERE TO BUY IN THE CONSOLE USING BROWSER TOOLS I SEE:
1.css Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED

Is the site url that actually has SLP installed on this page?

    http://www.rhpeterson.com/find-a-dealer/

When I search by zip code it shows the location within the radius I selected, assume you have
disable initial directory under your results settings. Assume you want them to search first?

    Hello Patricia,

Delete | Apply To All will delete all. If you are only getting 400-something deleted yout server is underpowered and gives up at that point. That is a server resources issue.

It should work with the right settings, limiting radius in results in the back end .

which search isnt working? when I search by Product, or by country or by city I see correct results… you cannot have the widgets and drop downs for all the variables. Having the drop downs is there to replace the zip code search. You can use the dropdown for City, country etc and product. Force the customer to search by one of those instead of only by post code . You are not forcing your customer to search by Country so Google will continue to return results with ANY post code in the world that shares your Australian post codes. Perhaps less drop downs instead of all drop downs would be better so you are not creating too many variables to be returned.

If your customers are mostly based In Australia and New Zealand, be aware that since you do not have HTTPS, location sensor will not work. Additionally Google is now throwing warnings* to all sites warning them about their Symantec SSL certs. They are becoming very restrictive and searches using their services are going to be deprecated without the SSL certs. If you get the correct vakid SSL cert location sensor would work for them and eliminate the majority of your issues

    https://docs.storelocatorplus.com/blog/location-sensor

*You are getting these warnings on your site because you have an insecure site.
slp_core.min.js?ver=4.9.2:1 [Deprecation] getCurrentPosition() and watchPosition() no longer work on insecure origins. To use this feature, you should consider switching your application to a secure origin, such as HTTPS.

Please post your Plugin environment, there have been updates. Showing no records processed indicates your files may be corrupt.

While Lance was working with a customer who has over 1000 locations and they tested imports they discovered that using some Excel versions and Safari (Mac) are causing files to be corrupted when downloaded as csv. Solution is to use Google Sheets and download from there. Look at your media file, open it and see if the columns etc are correct. When they used Google sheets and downloaded from that form to CSV, the import worked quickly and with no errors.

    @Tony

One last question. Were you Excel to create your file? And if so were you also using Safari, MAC? There is an issue with special characters being added back in especially in their cloud excel. Try using the Google sheets and downloading that to a csv file. Lance discovered that a new update to the Excel cloud service and when importing on a MAc, files were being corrupted. As soon as they used Google sheets downloaded to csv the files uploaded without a snag.

Please let us know if you are still having issues.

The issue has been identified to the developer. Thank you for posting this issue. There have been some changes to WP and their related functionalities that may have changed some of the settings. He will work on a patch in the next Power release.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Stay tuned to the versions history for next update

Which version could you not update?

Lance fixed some things in SLP 4.9.2 due to changes that were not announced by WP when wp 4.8.3 auto updated everything. See his news Post here on developer notes.

    https://www.storelocatorplus.com/store-locator-plus-4-9-2-delete-locations/

I do not see your plugin environment and do not know if you are having other javascript issues on your site. I recall last time there were some error messages..
I need the site url and current versions in order to delve into it further.

The one site you had mentioned before, blue seal…has a fatal error . It is using outdated jquery
    .https://blueseal.com/store-locator/?addressInput=

    The other site https://kentfeeds.com/purchase/dealer-locator?addressInput=52761

I do not know what version of WP you rolled back to, or if your themes or other plugins are using outdated jquery, you need 1.12 at minimum or SLP and WP will not work correctly not to mention the security patches that had been released. I am not all for auto updating WP, the developer does not advise auto updates and SLP does not do them. Every time WP has a major version release they immediately have two or three fixes and patches as a result.

I cannot troubleshoot the site as it currently exists. Sorry, I can imagine you are frustrated, the developer has also noticed issues with WP updates breaking sections of code and he has had to go back and recode portions of SLP and add-ons.

Hi Amanda, Had you used the remote file retrieval before this latest update?
WordPress cron is not exact, it executes the next time a visitor comes to your site, but if the remote file retrieval worked before and isn’t working now, I will have Lance look into that. I know he is working on some changes that effected Power with the Latest WP changes.

The forums, BB press is doing something wacky. I know Lance had to update Woocommerce and Jet Pack.

Are you seeing error messages when you are trying to update SLP? Lance did some updates to SLP to 4.9.2, did you try that one or which one could you not update?
Notes from Lance’s post yesterday to address WP 4.8.3 data queries.

Under settings/search/category/single drop down, under category selector leave first entry empty, do not add a label. This forces people to select a category. I have attached a screenshot, remember to save and refresh after doing this.

Kent was your issue resolved? Have you  migrated your site recently? if so make sure all your data and WP content and libraries migrated as well ( see troubleshooting info about this subject)

The error messages I see (using browser inspect tools)  is about the mixed content. Assume you migrated a site from http to https?

jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2 Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://kentfeeds.com/purchase/dealer-locator?addressInput=52761.’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure XMLHttpRequest endpoint ‘http://kentfeeds.com/wp-content/plugins/store-locator-le/images/icons/box_yellow_home.png’. Jaap,

You have Javascript issues. If you need assistance with Troubleshooting your site to resolve your  javascript issues (these are not SLP issues) , that is outside the scope of the normal forum support. That would be done through Cybersprocket .  Please note the SLP Paid Troubleshooting support option  would only identify your issues , which plugins or theme is causing these issues and does not fix them.

To have a developer / IT person fix those other Javascript issues on your site would be done through Cybersprocket.

Lance is in the middle of  programming for a customization customer. I urge you to either hire Cybersprocket, or if you have your own IT person, ask them to find the javascript issues on your site.

Fixing other plugins or javascript (that is not part of SLP)  is outside the scope of  forum support unfortunately.   For advanced  technical and developer  support, hours are available through   Cybersprocket .

Did you happen to see Lances reply as well?   UML  shoud still work, I just don’t troubleshoot those., but it wouldn’t cause an issue with search on maps.  Lance  weighed in and confirmed other things are most likely interfering with  Javascript preventing SLP to work properly.  We have a troubleshooting docs site to explain how to check for these erros

When I viewed your site I see the errors. shown in the screen shot. I did not see SLP base plugin on the page, only the UML third party add-on.  We have not been able to get DeBaat to update any of the third party add-ons , he has been unresponsive ,  I cannot troubleshoot that one.

But I did see you are using Foundation CSS with UML on a page.  Lance discovered an issue  for another customer within  Foundation CSS. It was  overwriting the plugin style in SLP.   I do not know if that is the situation in your case  but he developed a new plugin style called Metropolis to help with this.

In the meantime I have notified Lance of your issue , he will need your url that has the SLP search form and which site you are seeing the issues on

Sorry to hear you are having issues Jaap, Could you provide the site url that SLP is on so we can review?  (is this the one…https://www.alpha-audio.nl/)  If so I am seeing errors on the page when I inspect with Chrome.

Also which plugin style are you using?  I noted that you had previously bought some Legacy add-ons like Widgets.   I will send you an email about upgrades.    Did you have some CSS when you had ProPack?

    As far as your :

    • This error shows on the top of the page – Notice: Undefined property: SLP_Admin_General::$addon in /home/sureinv7/public_html/wp-content/plugins/store-locator-le/include/base_class.object.php on line 41

We cannot generate that error and it would only show to you if you have debug mode on. We do not see a bug on that line and it would not generate an error for SLP. Were you using debug mode when seeing that error?

You have no Google MAP API on your site and seem to have a static page. I cannot see errors being generated there from SLP

But do see what your issue is after seeing some of your locations had the tel. I inspected the elements:

these result wrappers and your location boxes  are inherited from div#id from your generate press and something they have added to results ouput, A

someone apparently typed in tel:  number for this one location?<span class=”slp_result_address slp_result_phone”>Tel: 011 907 0069</span>

lberton – Newmarket Mall, Gauteng11.2 km

Shop 23, Newmarket Mall, Cnr Heidelberg Road and Swart Koppies RoadAlberton, GautengTel: 011 907 0069Fax: 011 907 0087
Under your SLP /Settings/results /appearance/ layout do you see this?
    class=”slp_result_address slp_result_phone”>
    [slp_location phone]</span><span class slp_result_address slp_result_fax”>[slp_location fax]</span></div><div
because when I look at your site everything is being overwritten and contained in some results wrapper that is not SLP  CSS . I believe it is coming from your strict rules under your generatepress theme.  I have no experience with that theme but it is forcing results from the div//*[@id=”results_box_output”]
Inspect your site in the browser and you will see the div css  which has all the results wrappers forced under it. (I have no idea when this was generated by your site or developer or their theme or if you have a new theme or if you were using a different SLP plugin style once upon a time, but it is taking over the styling).
If you switch temporarily to a WordPress basic theme and use SLP base plugin and add in your labels, email etc I bet you will see it appear as it should.
    <div class=“store_locator_plus generatepress”><div id=”sl_div”><div id=”sl_top”><div id=”search_box”><div id=”search_box_header”><span id=”slp_option_js_search_box_title”></span></div><div id=”search_box_form”><form id=”searchForm” class=”slp_search_form” action=”” onsubmit=”cslmap.searchLocations(); return false;”>
