CiciKeymaster
Ian the error message on your site now just shows filter undefined. That was fixed with last version of SLP and EXP , etc.
There was an error in SLP 5.5.1, that caused what you are describing but it was fixed in SLP ver 5.5.2. Just redo these stes
1) Deactivate SLP and Premier and Power and EXP.
2) When you do that you should see the plugins and add-ons telling you new version available, go ahead and update those. See versions available
Also your WP version is outdated, I understand if you do not want to update right away but
CiciKeymasterIt is this element that is not changing when you change the label in the back end
<input type=”submit” class=”slp_ui_button” value=”Find Locations” id=”addressSubmit”>
I have reported it to lance, as my understanding is when you change that label by adding text it should update. I know he did some tweaking with the block support and also changed the legacy CSS so perhaps that is what changed . see changelog for last update . I will find out for you Piani
CiciKeymasterHi I do not understand your reference to https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/store-locator-le/stable/sv/default/?page=33
As you are aware that is the back-end translations and we do not have control over that.
Are you referring to front end or back end?
When you are referring to the shortcode that indicates to me you are referencing the Front end how it appears on your site url or in your search layout.
This will not work : [lable_for_find_button]
label is misspelled. In US we spell it label
As far as Find Locations button, I have tested on my site and our test site and you are correct it is not changing. I have notified Lance
CiciKeymasterYes to al.
It does matter where the file is saved, It needs to be publicly accessible.
yes it matters if the file is locked. (It cannot be)
As far as File Permissions, review WP,
Configuring your server and PHP limits technical article still applies even thought his was published a while ago
Turn on General /Schedule if you haven’t already
CiciKeymasterAlternatively, a lot of our customers are tired of dealing with Google API keys and their ever changing rules.
You might want to consider moving over to our MySLP SaaS solution. You do not need to worry about updating your SLP versions, you do not need to worry about Google API, we handle all that. You would most likely need to signup at the Professional level plan if you decide to go that route and since you already have Power, just export to a csv file, and import into MYSLP account. You can also import your JSON settings under the Settings/Tools. You could have it all done and up and running in less than an hour . A simple embed script and your map will be back on line
See our SLP home page and our news blogs.
More info on docs site for MYSLP getting started
CiciKeymasterOk,
Well your SLP and add-ons are not latest version.
(but that does not effect the directions where to input API fields)
In SLP go to the GENERAL TAB
add the
you do NOT need the Google Geocoding key if you have not added referrer restrictions.
If you already have a key there and have the error still (I cannot see since you have turned off the SLP on your site url)
then that means perhaps you did not add a billing account, or your credit card with Google is expired? In that case please read in Google Support for suggestions
CiciKeymasterDo you have a Google API key? Do you have a billing account with a credit card attached to it?
Did you r Migrate your site and perhaps need to revist the Google API set up ?
I cannot provide specific information without the info requested in posting guidelines.
1) Need Screen shot of your SLP INFO/PLUGIN ENVIRONMENT that shows SLP versions,PHP, MYSQL and WP version
2} your site url that is showing the error.
CiciKeymastersorry I thought I( answered this yesterday,
Please follow forum posting guidelines. See Plugin environment info. We need versions etc. Are you using latest version of SLP and add-ons? What add-ons are you using? What version of WordPress
Without this info we cannot assist you with specifics. I do see your results layout and it seems to be coming from fusion and or legacy css. I do not see the results tags line in your results wrappers.
<span id=”slp_tags”>[slp_location tags]</span>
See result s layout
See Legacy CSS Styling if you have one of those. Am sure you are doing daily back ups right? If so you can find your styling or choose the gallery style …Please read docs…but again I cannot answer specifically without knowing anything about your plugin environment
Check the Troubleshooting guidelines as well
CiciKeymasterUpdate with the WordPress updates version 5.3
And WordPress themes updates with their built in CSS . Some SLP Legacy styles were retired and either are part of the SLP Gallery Style or can be downloaded from your file or here.
CiciKeymasterI am going to confer with the developer to see what could be effecting your cron scheduled import.
The test did import successfully manually for me …albeit the “year established” is not the way I would normally see it with that much detail including the hour. (This is what imported into that field for me)
2020-03-20 10:55:49.0
CiciKeymasterHi ,
What is this part of your csv file shown under identifier go to ?
10:45:22.0,3994832
Can you attach the actual csv file first row?
Identifier field : f you want to reference an external ID, one you’ve assigned or that comes from a source outside of Store Locator Plus, then you will want to Enable Contact Fields which provides a new data field called “Identifier”. This IS a location ID field that you can create/modify to be whatever you like to uniquely identify locations. It is often used to reference an external data source for imports.
it looks like you have a time stamp but I cannot tell which field header name it is under,,,,year established you have an actual date, which also looks like a time stamp.
If you provide as an attachment here a brief couple of lines of your csv file that would help
CiciKeymasterWhen you update SLP skip the 5.5.1 update and update 5.5.2, the .1 version had a bug that has been resolved.
CiciKeymasterThe developer is working on trying to isolate and correct the Storepage map location field in the SEO Page template if that is the error you are reporting, as another customer experienced same. Please, it would be helpful if you specified or showed us a screenshot of the error so we could better assist you.
CiciKeymasterCould you update to SLP 5.5.1 and let us know if that fixes your issue?
CiciKeymasterhi Frank
The developer is working on the StorePage and Power issue. That is something new, Thank you for being specific about the problem. We will let you know when the Power update is completed. EXP and Prem have been updated for the filter undefined issue on those two
CiciKeymasterAlso, note:
you should be downloading both The Experience plugin as well as power plug-in from your account.
here is some info for you about how to download and activate.
Follow these steps to manually install or upgrade your add-on packs:
Login to your account on the Store Locator Plus website.
Download your add-on packs (Power and Experience and premier)
If updating or adding, Via your WordPress admin panel, deactivate and delete any outdated add-on packs.
Via your WordPress admin panel, install the zip files you downloaded from the Store Locator Plus site, activate SLP, then activate the add-on packs.
CiciKeymasterSee our Search not working helpful hints and Javascript errors. I looked at your site and using browser dev tools and under console saw the below javascript errors on your site. You will need to fix these

CiciKeymasterI have the developer looking into the issue in general and will let you know if he has an update soon.
CiciKeymasterOk, I see that the email comes up now
because of your other issue with storepage and the errors I saw on your site the developer is republishing some JS script that may not have made it all the way through publications.
First make sure you have recent update and you have saved in a sepafrate file your bubble layout that works for you
then you can try the update to SLP EXP to 5.5.1 It is under your account in downloads or you can checl WP Check again for updates and it should appear there
CiciKeymasternote that Extended data manager may not work, most likely will not work . The developer of that add-on was DeBaat and he stopped updating them over 2 years ago so I would suggest deactivating that one
I am having the developer look at your issue as I noted there were some errors on your site noting SLP EXP and Premier.
In the mean time if you could check these
- make sure the web server cache is cleared (opCache, minification apps, CDNs, etc
- as well as the browser
As well as the browser.CiciKeymasterExtended data Manager is a third art plugin by DeBaat and will not work with any of our plugins any longer, That author (DeBAAT not the SLP author) stopped updating his add-ons so we had to deactivate them. We announced this two years agohttps://storelocatorplus.com/legacy-third-party-add-ons-deactivation/
So if that is what you mean by critical error, deactivate that plugin
I know you said you used the layout code but when I looked at your actual URL the actual site and inspected the bubble element that is NOT what was appearing. I provided you the screenshot of what is really in there. I do not know if you need to refresh and flush your cache, it is possible. There were NO closing anchors. So if you are testing s on a staging site please provide that. What is giving you a critical error?
I will show you a screenshot of your elements for the bubble layout. As you can see there are NO closing html anchors. so if you say there is in the back end of SLP under MAP bubble then maybe your theme is overriding it and stripping out the slp info bubble div. or your cacheing is interfering. .
if that is the case, On a staging site, turn off the other plugins and try a totally Vanilla, i.e a not customized nor any Premier theme and use a free WordPress theme and see how the info bubble displays then. I am pretty sure you will see it displays correctly. If so you know it is your theme.
Again here is attached screenshot of the elements as they are written in your bubble.

You must be logged in to view attached files.CiciKeymasterI need the site url tand or a screenshot o see what you are seeing
“slp_Filter undefined “is to ubiquitous a term for me to figure out what or where exactly you may be seeing that.
(this url is not view able thttps://ilffp.local/)
please provide a screenshot since I do know what you mean by “single location page” nor what error you are seeing, nor where you are seeing it.
are you referring to the back end locations or SEO Pages, or the website page link that directs to SEO Pages>?? front end? Browser? SEO Page template?
have you tried a vanilla WordPress theme? What theme are you using?
Example: Are you using Enfold Theme with SEO Pages, (there is info here on that)
CiciKeymasterthe other premier customer said it wasnt one of the ones on WP engine list, but he found it.according to him .. “testing showed that some plugins needed to be deactivated and then re-activated after running updates. The conflict was most likely the Event Calendar, Bloom, or Revolution Slider”
CiciKeymasterWe had a premier customer who was having a similar issue, They also use WPengine dedicated server. he found there was another plugin that was causing the issue.
I do not know at this time if it was one that may have been on the WPEngine list here
or something totally different. You may want to check with WPEngine support
- make sure the web server cache is cleared (opCache, minification apps, CDNs, etc
