    Ahh, I see what happened, there was a year skipped or cancelled (2017)  and then the newer payments went through. I checked with the support emails and  haven’t seen an email come through to support  as yet. We were having some issues with the third party support email systems so I will check again. Or you can try to send an email again if you do not hear back in a timely manner.

    Without the site url where you are seeing those errors I could not tell you but it does sound like you may have a conflict or you do not have your Google API keys set up correctly(?). If you could provide me with the site url where you are experiencing the issues, the developer will ask about it as well since all our tests with remote file retrieval is working.  If you do not want to post here, you can send an email with the info, including a screenshot of plugin info, versions, url, a link for the remote file (we should be able to test your remote file if the list isn’t too large)   There is  paid support option if you need additional help that is not within the scope here.

    One quick way to tell is put the URL you are using for your imports into your browser.Does it download a CSV file you can open with a text editor?No?Then It isn’t a vanilla CSV file readable by the “Internet”.

    This is the link you can use to see if remote file retrieval is working

    For example — if you go HERE it tries to download a file…

    Google changed how share links on drives are working and we found no way to get to the raw CSV file with any links they provided.

    So Google Drive hosted CSV files is likely never going to work again.   Just one more way for them to track everything you do online by using an embed object vs. a flat CSV that they give you access too.

    Ok, I see this post now.

    It should be attempting to import the locations from the remote file retrieval.

    I am working with the developer to see what may be happening here.

    If you have a test or staging site , try importing from our google drive (Public ) as a remote file retrieval and let us know if that is working for you (try it on your test site or staging site) .

    For anyone else who is following this post, we discovered a bug in Power and  are working on a fix. There was some code that was not updated or did not match when Smart options were utilized and updated in the Power add-on. A patch is being tested for Power and will be available later  this week. Power will be updated and tags options patched in the next release

    Also, an update, there will be  an update for Power and SLP. You should update when you see it available, it might help with your Cron job and remote file retrieval. but you will still need to maintain and have the file somewhere it can communicate with WordPress.  (Not be behind an extra level  of security which blocks communications if you are using remote file retrieval)

    Yes, As far as the ID , I tested it and it imported correctly.

    As far as the CRON

    Developer found the Cron error on import — but he said that should not cause it to continually respawn.

    Cron error will be patched in Power 5.5.3

    Please provide your plugin environment each time you post so we can see what versions you are using, there have been a couple of updates this week.

    We have tested and we cannot recreate your issue:

    i..E you say Load data is automatically checked off?

    have you tried WP debug on a staging site (assuming  the staging site reproduces the issue) and check for errors — especially in SLP code. If you see errors in SLP code please forward them to Support so the developer can take a look.

    Lance looked into it and responded with a more colorful version of “Shuchsk” 🙂

    Anyhow, He fixed EXP , enter what you want under Settings Search/label. EXP  5.5.2 is now available

     

    SLP is 5.5.4

    Power is 5.5.1

    Ian the error message on your site now just shows filter undefined. That was fixed with last version of SLP and EXP , etc.

    There was an error in SLP 5.5.1, that caused what you are describing but  it was fixed in SLP ver 5.5.2. Just redo these stes

    1) Deactivate SLP and Premier and Power and EXP.

    2) When you do that you should see the plugins and add-ons telling you new version available, go ahead and update those. See versions available

    Also your WP version is outdated, I understand if you do not want to update right away but

    It is this element that is not changing when you change the label in the back end

    I have reported it to lance, as my understanding is  when  you change that label by adding text it should update. I know he did some tweaking with the block support and also changed the legacy CSS  so perhaps that is what changed .  see changelog for last update . I will find out for you Piani

    As you are aware that is the back-end translations and we do not have control over that.

    Are you referring to front end or back end?

    When you are referring to the shortcode that indicates to me you are referencing the Front end how it appears on your site url or in your search layout.

    This will not work :  [lable_for_find_button] 

    label is misspelled. In US we spell it label

    As far as Find Locations button, I have tested on my site and our test site and you are correct it is not changing. I have notified Lance

    Yes to al.

    It does matter where the file is saved,  It needs to be publicly accessible.

    yes it matters if the file is locked. (It cannot be)

    As far as File Permissions, review WP, 

    Configuring your server and PHP limits technical article still applies even thought his was published a while ago

    Turn on General /Schedule   if you haven’t already

    Alternatively, a lot of our customers are tired of dealing with  Google API keys and their ever changing rules.

    You might want to consider moving over to our MySLP SaaS solution. You do not need to worry about updating your SLP versions, you do not need to worry about Google API, we handle all that. You would most likely need to signup at  the Professional level plan if you decide to go that route and since you already have Power, just export to a csv file, and import into MYSLP account.  You can also import your JSON settings under the Settings/Tools.  You could have it all done and up and running in less than  an hour . A simple embed script and your map will be back on line

    Ok,

    Well your SLP and add-ons are not latest version. 

    (but that does not effect the directions  where to input  API fields)

    In SLP go to the GENERAL TAB  

    add the

    Google API Browser key

     

    you do NOT need the Google Geocoding key if you have not added referrer restrictions.

    If you already have a key there and have the error still (I cannot see since you have turned off the SLP on your site url)

    then that means perhaps you did not add a billing account, or your credit card with Google is expired?  In that case please read in Google Support for suggestions

    Do you have a Google API key? Do you have a billing account with a credit card attached to it?

    Did you r Migrate your site and perhaps need to revist the Google API   set up ?

    I cannot provide specific information without the info requested in posting guidelines.

     

    1) Need Screen shot of your SLP INFO/PLUGIN ENVIRONMENT that shows SLP versions,PHP, MYSQL and WP version

    2} your site url that is  showing the error.

    Please follow forum posting guidelines. See Plugin environment info. We need versions etc. Are you using latest version of SLP and add-ons? What add-ons are you using? What version of WordPress

    Without this info we cannot assist you with specifics. I do see your results layout and it seems to be coming from fusion and or legacy css. I do not see the results tags  line in your results wrappers.

    See Legacy CSS Styling if you have one of those.  Am sure you are doing daily back ups right? If so you can find your styling or choose the gallery style …Please read docs…but again I cannot answer specifically without knowing anything about your plugin environment

    Update with the WordPress updates  version 5.3

    And WordPress themes updates  with their built in CSS . Some SLP Legacy styles were retired and either are part of the SLP Gallery Style or can be downloaded from your file or here.

    I am going to confer with the developer to see what could be effecting your cron scheduled import.

    The test  did import successfully manually for me …albeit the “year established”  is not the way I would normally see  it with that much detail including the hour. (This is what imported into that field for me)

    What is this part of your csv file shown under identifier go to ?

    Can you attach the actual csv file first row?

    Identifier field : f you want to reference an external ID, one you’ve assigned or that comes from a source outside of Store Locator Plus, then you will want to Enable Contact Fields which provides a new data field called “Identifier”.    This IS a location ID field that you can create/modify to be whatever you like to uniquely identify locations.  It is often used to reference an external data source for imports.

     

    it looks like you have a time stamp but I cannot tell which field header name it is under,,,,year established you have an actual date, which also looks like a time stamp.

    If you provide as an attachment here a brief couple of lines of your csv file that would help
