CiciKeymaster
Also did you check your results layout, are you referring to scroll to map in results
CiciKeymasterDid you clear the cache when you updated/ I cannot replicate the issue , especially not for the cluster map markers. What plugin style are you using? (Under settings/view]If your plugin style reset for some reason that could effect what is displayed and what is not
June 12, 2020 at 1:49 PM in reply to: [storepage map=location] loading but not displaying map #79403CiciKeymasterI am not quite sure how you are using the plug-in but perhaps the SEO Pages docs can shed some light on what you need to do for a template to show if you are using Pages
Also I noted you are using SMUSHIT on that URL…Smushit has a conflict with SLP, we alresdy have a minifier. Turn off SmushIT
https://docs.storelocatorplus.com/generating-store-pages/
or if you only want to show a list of locations:
https://docs.storelocatorplus.com/creating-a-list-of-location-pages/
Also looking at that one page, check to make sure if you are using Map with pages you have correct map height settings
I thought I saw somewhere on that url as having map height settings as 100% that is not correct. under settings/map
Appearance
Map Height: The initial map height in pixels or percent of initial page height. Can also use rules like auto and inherit if Height Units is set to blank. Do not set height at 100%!
Height Units: Is the width a percentage of page width or absolute pixel size? Select blank to use CSS rules like auto or inherit in the Map Height setting.NOTE: Most WordPress themes do not set a fixed height for the content area of a page. DO NOT USE A % HEIGHT UNIT as your browser cannot calculate the height from a variable-height page and will result in a map ZERO pixels in height, effectively HIDING the map. Instead use a defined unit height such as 480 px or 30 em.

CiciKeymasterHi dan,
You haven’t provided the info I would need to look into this. What versions, i.e per forum posting guidelines what is your Plug-in environment (Under info tab) that shows what versions you are using/ What is the url where you are having issues?
is it the same as previous topics you created
https://clicknride.com.au/stockists
Do you have the Experience add-on installed// You need to have the Experience add-on installed and I did not see that under the sources WP plugins under the above url.
This is why we ask what you have for Plugin environment,. update and activate the latest EXP add-on and you should see under Settings/MAP/Functionality a check box for scroll wheel to zoom can be found . Is that the function you are referring to?

You must be logged in to view attached files.CiciKeymasterAs you can see on that page the background on the map is telling you for dev purposes only which indicates you have not set up your Google Maps API correctly. You need to add your billing credentials. (using any browser inspect the page and it will show you the exact error message on that page.) That page also has a pop up from Google asking if you own that site, the answer is yes. With the WPSLP plugin you must maintain your own Google API keys

CiciKeymasterNot quite sure what you mean, could you provide an example?
Are you using WooCommerce?
CiciKeymasterYes, Under Settings Search radius there is a Do not use selection. It will ignore the radius
CiciKeymasterI just looked at your site and it appears the button bars and categories are back. I am closing as resolved
CiciKeymasterDo you have Premier installed and activated with current versions? Please provide the plugin environment which is found under info tab.
Unfortunately ,the Screenshot provided does not give us any info.
Your site is showing errors, using any browser dev tools check for errors

CiciKeymasterWhat versions of what add-ons etc are you referring to. Please provide your plugin environment (please see forum posting guidelines)
CiciKeymaster1) Update to latest version of SLP and EXP
2) Any JS error can cause issues.
Categories not being able to be set or saved
Hints for debugging and troubleshooting javascript.
3) country
Check your results settings for radius search
you should set to a high enough number.
That site has the country drop down with two different spellings of country Uruguay and you also have UrAguay
not sure where that is coming from but that indicates there is an address with both in your location data . Are you using the Experience discrete search dropdown on that site url .
CiciKeymasterDan, I emailed a copy of the pre release beta Power 5.5.4. I can send it again if you did not receive it
CiciKeymasterResolved, thanks for letting us assist you
CiciKeymasterHi Jason,
We have a pre release beta version of Power add-on that is addressing the remote file retrieval. If you want to test it go to your account and at the bottom of the page in footer you will sere Download above the Premier support text. If you click on download there you will see all the beta pre releases but you should only test on a clone or dev site as mentioned before. We need to do more testing before the patch is published
CiciKeymasterDan we sent you an email from support. The developer is working on the CRON issue you have identified and he can send you a beta version if you have a test, cloned or dev site you can install on
CiciKeymasterOk, I will create a ticket that the loading indicator is not working.
CiciKeymasterIn your case, it is returning the actual location in your database from the location name. If I were to put in a name of something, for example the name of a restaurant here, and Google did not have that in their MAP that was within your radius set no locations would be shown.
It is a combination of what Google recognizes as a place AND what is within your locations, within your radius settings. Lower the default radius and you may not find any locations returned even if you have the store name in your locations.
(See search by radius for more info).
For instance if I go your site and search for a restaurant near me. Broken Egg, nothing is returned. Because it is not already geolocated in your SLP locations NOR a city or a state or a country that Google interprets and that is also in your database. The city or state or name HAS to be in your locations database and within the results you set for it to return a result.
CiciKeymasterDH the developer is looking at your reported issue this week and will be patching or attempting to resolve and get to the bottom of it.
He has noted that the hourly job is rescheduling itself
CiciKeymasterOn your site there is also an error message under index and your console “Failed to set referrer policy: The value ” is not one of ‘no-referrer’, ‘no-referrer-when-downgrade’, ‘origin’, ‘origin-when-cross-origin’, ‘same-origin’, ‘strict-origin’, ‘strict-origin-when-cross-origin’, or ‘unsafe-url’. The referrer policy has been left unchanged”.
Follow the suggestions Troubleshooting for other suggestions for Grey MAP or search not working
(MYSQL should be 5.6 or higher in accordance with WP best practices)
1) Turn off Settings/Loading indicator under results.. See if that helps
2)Turn on WP Debugger and send us the log to support email?
April 28, 2020 at 2:14 PM in reply to: SLP Search Down and SLP Causing Fatal Site Error per WordPress #79235CiciKeymasterp,S That email is not saying there is a “FATAL error”
WordPress is doing a “test run” of the code in a sandbox. Our plugins are inter-dependent. In other words, you cannot run the POWER add-on without having SLP plugin version xxx installed. WP engine that checks for those errors is wonky and throwing emails out to people getting them all up in arms.
Your search is working , in the future could you please provide us with a screenshot of your plugin environment, It shows us what versions and SLP addons you are using, the plugin environment we are referring to is under your SLP/INFO tab
CiciKeymasterDo you have an add-on enabled? please provide your plugin environment
https://docs.storelocatorplus.com/search-panel-settings/
You can always change your search box label and just put in the words zip code instructing visitors to only use a zip code

CiciKeymasterThat is not a BUG: Perhaps this is the simplest way to explain the situation….Google interface and how Google map works when performing a search.
https://docs.storelocatorplus.com/search-panel-settings/
Google API now requires the Places API because that is where they now have the geolocation service.Google API Key Setup
If you elected to go with the “we can do it ourselves” option by using the WordPress plugin you’re going to need an API key for Store Locator Plus® to work on your website. You need to:
Go to the Google Maps Platform site
Get Started
Check off Maps and Places
If you do not have a Google account they’ll make you create one
Setup a billing account with Google
Add your credit card information
Copy the API key they gave youjs Client for Google Maps Services. The Places API and the client libraries are for use in server applications. … The Places API is a service that returns information about places using HTTP requests. Places are defined within this API as establishments, geographic locations, or prominent points of interest.
Next time you post Please read the Posting instructions and provide your WPSLP plugin environment
April 27, 2020 at 1:15 PM in reply to: SLP Search Down and SLP Causing Fatal Site Error per WordPress #79222CiciKeymasterP.S. I performed a second search by zip code, I entered zip code 01886 (westford MASS)…i see all the results within 100 miles with the closest first. I noted the closest as Chelmsford but the zip code has dropped the leading zero.
It is not formatted correctly whenever you imported the locations, did you do that using Microsoft Exel?
Here is info on that issue.

Look under SLP/INFO tab on your WordPress ADMIN/Plugins panel. Not your Premier account.
I went to the site url, it took a while to load, but I performed the search for zip code 29464 and the screenshot is what came back.
An email from somewhere does not show us any causal relations.
what it does look like is perhaps you have not updated your them to use latest WP.
