    I believe I answered this but perhaps it did not register in the forum. The loading is dependent on your host provider, server , and not as much with number of locations. you can limit the number of locations to show in results. Properly configuring your PHP will also help

    Please follow the posting guidelines and provide your plugin environment etc .

    Are you referring to SEO Pages? You have not provided the versions or info required so not sure if you have the Power add-on.

    SeO Pages are set to draft mode setting. Otherwise have everything done on a dev site before pushing to a live site., updated

    I am not sure I understand what you mean by a third dropdown. Do you mean a third level tier, a child under a child?
    I do not think that is possible. I am guessing you may want something like an AMAZOn search category where you can drill down into additional subsets .

    For the category taxonomy it is dictated by WordPress. In other words, we did not re-invent the wheel.

    If I am misinterpreting I apologize. I do not know how you would have a third level in cascading.

    The country domain is also associated with languages , not directions. Google Maos .com do not have one designated search engine/server base any longer but now uses international. by selecting Spain, you are getting the correct language

    the maps domain is actually google.com period. No country at all, the country does not come into play unless you append on your map.

    They dropped country specific a long time ago.

    The domains designation is leftover from the first launch of the plugin , but as I confirmed with the developer it should not make any difference whatsoever.

    More info about Country domains and the role they play in SLP

    Regardless of what country you select as the default, any location in your location database can be returned by the search regardless of the country in which that location resides.

    P.S. It should not effect your search tools or displays in the mean time, just set the center map at for a specific address in Mexico and it should give you the correct lat.long. that will be the starting point for your map display.
    Could you explain how it is affecting your site? Our other international users are not reporting as having issues.

    Not sure if the answer was clear…select single dropdown…that will show all the parent categories and then when you click on any of those (parent category), if it has a subcategory/child, it will show all of those as well.

    For cascading it is either or, it isnt cascading and parent child.. if you want to show the dropdown with subcategories you must select either single parent or if you want cascading just select single.

    there are different ways to apply the category selector,
    Cascading, drop down

    radio buttons’ which are not for parent child

    ‘Horiz/vertical Check boxes

    To show the children and whole subset make sure under the search panel, you have selected ” single dropdown” or single parent”

    I changed my settings and checked both of those and saw all my parent child categories and the search worked

    P. S. Not sure if you are aware, but you have errors on that site. and SLP will not work if AJAX is blocked or turned off. See Troubleshooting

    Were you adding the image as a marker? If so the size of the image may be too big.

    There are instructions about custom map markers that may help you.

    Hi Kevin, I will close this post and you can post in Premier if you continue to have issues. In my meeting with the developer the other day we spoke about server capacities and platforms,. Your issue came up.

    That indicates that your server/ processor is timing out

    As indicated under the troubleshooting exports

    We have a client that exports thousands of locations with extensive data tables and it takes less then a minute.
    Nearly all production servers set a fixed amount of time that a program is allowed to use up in CPU resources. (This article that Lance wrote explains in agonizing technical detail, it refers to imports and older PHP but applies to exports as well)

    Lance mentioned that WPENGINE is not the most robust hosting platform. They are pretty weak for larger sites , there are better alternatives out there. But thats beyond our support mantra.

    No, you dont HAVE to purchase the add-on.
    SLP is already working properly. ( see screenshot and steps I took on my search of your site)

    the base SLp will search more then one country if you have the settings established as suggested in above. (” search settings to be “worldwide” and not on one specific country , also set the results search to a large number under settings/results) See the docs site about both of these options”) If you do not want focus to only be Aiustralia set the zoom level accordingly, see MAP panel settings

    EXP add-on allows you to have additional settings such as a drop down selector by country if you think that will benefit you. Right now it appears that you have no results displayed at start up and the Australia Map as your center map at…I am not sure what your settings are.

    Set your radius under results settings higher. Also your drop down box for radius for the search box is default of 10 miles, if you are not using any add-ons you might want that to be higher. See radius behavior and settings

    Fotr instaNce, I went to your url, I typed in Belgium in the search box, the location marker went to Belgium but no results found, well, that is because the default radius is 10 miles and the center of Belgium, compared to your locations in Belgium is more than 10 miles apart. When I selected the radius as 100 miles and reloaded search using simple belgium results were shown see attached screenshot.

    If you want the site to be more intuitive, you might want to have Experience add-on or Premier. (Premier also allows user to have a Country address guess)

    It is up to you or your client , the other options is to have radius default as a larger number or with experience add-on not rely on radius behavior.

    Please star a new topic chain for your scheduled import question if you still are having issues. Lance has been testing extensively on scheduled imports and remote file retrieval and it is working correctly.
    He has update coming out so that the messages output will tell people when their source CSV file is inaccessible

    Note: Google Drive is not allowing external access even with shared links / public enabled.
    Lance added the simple csv file list on Amazon S3 drive and set it to public read access and it worked first time: You can test it.

    Hi Kevin,
    I had reported the broken links in the back end that go to the docs and now that Lance had
    a break in his busy schedule , he was able to find the problem with one of the WordPress updates and dedicate some time to fix them. They should be working now. The documentation is a little bit more complicated now that there are two different products using the docs site.
    If there is something that you see that needs to be updated let me know. I try to update the documentation when I see the issue. We will take your suggestion and add a Multisite info page.

    Do you have a Network Admin person? There are settings for the master site ,like the premier subscription ids, that apply across all subsites.

    if WP engine changed that setting , that indicates they think you are running multisite

    There are advanced settings when you do that you need to know and it completely changes the db structure

    Please review the WP info about multisite network

    This is above and beyond our support.

    After doing whatever it is they did. Did you try to Reinstall the plugins Manually? We honestly have never had anyone have this kind of a problem with their subscription. And we have had a few new customers purchase their subscriptions in August.

    Scheduled imports, make sure you have WPCRON working and that the files are accessible.

    I have asked the developer to check the scheduled imports.
