CiciKeymaster
Sounds like you have another plugin (or theme) as a conflict…reported plugin that disables our javascript back end is Smush (>). We already run minify on our plugins. Try deactivating one plugin at a time to see which one is the issue.
When posting in forums please read and follow forum guide and provide the plugin environment etc so that we can be better at answering specific questions
You can use the Debug in WP as well.October 25, 2019 at 3:21 PM in reply to: Locations Form not loading and no link on Locations page to access? #68600CiciKeymasterSounds like you have another plugin (or theme) as a conflict…reported plugin that disables our javascript back end is Smush (>). CiciKeymasterMy only guess is that the way location sensor is working with the latest update of Iphone may have changed on the device GPS end, but it is only a guess.
CiciKeymasterChristian , What are your settings under Search? radius Behavior? The third option is “Use only when address is entered – ignore unless user typed an address.Useful when city, state, country discrete selector is in use.
View the documentation for Radius Behavior.”Are you using Location sensor?
I cannot guess why it would work correctly on all your sites but not on the iphone.
CiciKeymasterMaurizo,
Also Make sure that when you updated your Google Console, or Account and add payment that you are seeing the correct API key that should match what you have in WPSLP. If Google generated a new APi key for you for your project, update it in WPSLP under general Settings Browser key.The results do not need to query Google to list, but actually drawing the map does need to go to Google via your account and each time the Map is drawn it counts against your Google monthly limits.
Hope you are able to resolve with Google and get back on your feet.CiciKeymasterI am not an expert on themes myself. When I look for errors or to change CSS I use the Browser developer tools and Inspect and open the elements. You have settings in the index that may be overiding the SLP Map settings
You have absolute height as 100%. is that what the setting is in SLP Map settings or is that setting from your theme ? What do you have your map settings at in the back end of SLP? See here for Map panel settings
(Note you cannot have Map height at 100 % in back end of SLP)You ill need to do some detective work.
CiciKeymasterHmmm, What did happen just recently is WordPress AUTOMATICALLY Updated everyone to their latest release. They auto updated. So if you didnt change anything, you might want to contact the theme author for support and see if anyone else is having issues. Do you have a back up of your site that you can restore to?
if you did not change anything, and we did not change anything..,last one i can think of is that WordPress is effecting it. Cant think of anything else
by the way I visited that site url and that page is not correct Instead of showing any map it is showing the short code. How did you add the shortcode? It is showing up as text [SLPLUS]
Did you copy and paste it from a document instead of changing in back end of the WordPress page where it should be? with a shortcode?
See the docs and follow along. Do not copy and paste from the docs site.CiciKeymasterI looked at your site and you are having similar issues others are mentioning, it means google is very serious now about having a paid account.

You need to follow the links in your javascript error thgat I shared above with you.
See the google FAQ https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages
If you believe that your account is correct, you have added a correct billing type per the Google payment criteria and your Keys are correct, you need to contact google Support.
CiciKeymasterThe drop down under the search setting is Current or Worldwide The setting is under the SLP/Settings/Search panel
Search Address Nearest
Worldwide is the default search, letting Google make the best guess which addres the user wants. Current Map will find the best matching address nearest the current area shown on the map.Next make sure your settings under results, the radius are set to a large enough number so that it will include both countries….
CiciKeymasterSee troubleshooting as well…If search is not working
CiciKeymasterNot sure what the issue is, did you try using debugger to see if another plugin is in conflict?
could it be your recaptcha widget?

Your site errors, using any inspection tool in the browser , Google tells you the issue. Contact Google, follow the link they provide you and add a payment to your API account

CiciKeymasterHe has been migrating servers so probably forgot about it.
I know he has not been changing any coding to add a new category selector. HE WOULD PROBABLY NEED TO DO THAT.October 14, 2019 at 10:25 AM in reply to: Oops! Something went wrong. This page didn't load Google Maps correctly. See the #67907CiciKeymasterThis issue seems to be resolved at least for the link you are referring to in your post. i visited your site and searched and all went according to plan.
CiciKeymasterNo that is not part of our plugin
CiciKeymasterI believe I answered this but perhaps it did not register in the forum. The loading is dependent on your host provider, server , and not as much with number of locations. you can limit the number of locations to show in results. Properly configuring your PHP will also help
Please follow the posting guidelines and provide your plugin environment etc .
CiciKeymasterAre you referring to SEO Pages? You have not provided the versions or info required so not sure if you have the Power add-on.
SeO Pages are set to draft mode setting. Otherwise have everything done on a dev site before pushing to a live site., updated
CiciKeymasterThe developer is looking into it to see if there is a way to do it your preferred method.
CiciKeymasterI am not sure I understand what you mean by a third dropdown. Do you mean a third level tier, a child under a child?
I do not think that is possible. I am guessing you may want something like an AMAZOn search category where you can drill down into additional subsets .For the category taxonomy it is dictated by WordPress. In other words, we did not re-invent the wheel.
If I am misinterpreting I apologize. I do not know how you would have a third level in cascading.
CiciKeymasterThe country domain is also associated with languages , not directions. Google Maos .com do not have one designated search engine/server base any longer but now uses international. by selecting Spain, you are getting the correct language
CiciKeymasterP.S. marin
the maps domain is actually google.com period. No country at all, the country does not come into play unless you append on your map.
They dropped country specific a long time ago.
The domains designation is leftover from the first launch of the plugin , but as I confirmed with the developer it should not make any difference whatsoever.
More info about Country domains and the role they play in SLP
Regardless of what country you select as the default, any location in your location database can be returned by the search regardless of the country in which that location resides.
CiciKeymasterP.S. It should not effect your search tools or displays in the mean time, just set the center map at for a specific address in Mexico and it should give you the correct lat.long. that will be the starting point for your map display.
Could you explain how it is affecting your site? Our other international users are not reporting as having issues.P.S. In the future please provide your plugin environment and url as shown in posting guidelines above. thanks
CiciKeymasterI will mention it to the developer.
CiciKeymasterNot sure if the answer was clear…select single dropdown…that will show all the parent categories and then when you click on any of those (parent category), if it has a subcategory/child, it will show all of those as well.

You must be logged in to view attached files.CiciKeymasterFor cascading it is either or, it isnt cascading and parent child.. if you want to show the dropdown with subcategories you must select either single parent or if you want cascading just select single.
there are different ways to apply the category selector,
Cascading, drop downradio buttons’ which are not for parent child
To show the children and whole subset make sure under the search panel, you have selected ” single dropdown” or single parent”
I changed my settings and checked both of those and saw all my parent child categories and the search worked
