This task has been complete, Please update to Power 4.7.8 and SLP 4.7.8
The Experience add on is if you want to change the default standard label. For instance I have instead of Find Locations, the verbiage “Find Locations Now” and for the NO RESULTS message “Not what you are looking for? Try your search by adding the country after the post code”
As you can see I am changing the whole line, not translating the default. You should be able to translate the default buttons as mentioned above without the Experience add-on

By using Loco Translate to sync and save an updated .po/.mo language file to the SLP languages directory, the WPML language switcher will now pick up the proper translation. The process the developer used to get the Italian translation for “Find Locations” to show up when we select the Italian version of the page:
Install and Active Loco Translate
Go To Manage Translations in Loco Translate
Select the existing it_IT translation file next to Store Locator Plus.
Click sync to load in the latest gettext() calls that need translation.
Add the missing “Find Locations” text in Italian.
Save the file.
Now my Italian version of the English “Locations” page shows the proper text on the Find Locations button when I switch from the English page to the Italian page.
Did you recently move over your site, or develop a new site or is this a new domain? If so you need a Google API key. That has been the case since June 22 2016.

You can easily didn’t troubleshoot using Chrome tools or Firefox. If you had you would see these error messages under the Console tab when you use the inspect tool

Please provide your site url. Did you also just update WP? Did you update other plugins?
Have you tried using the Debugger info in Troubleshooting? If so we need the whole error log

In WP support forums switch to locale usually involves translations, are you using another language for SLP?

All your plugins and add-ons were purchased in 2014 and are Legacy Add-ons. Only customers who have purchased add-ons within the past year are eligible for a coupon at the discretion of Store Locator Plus.
For you to get the maximum benefit from all your add-ons the Premier subscription would be best, otherwise at the minimum the Experience Add-on. Note: ProPack still works with SLP 4.7 but you might not be able to use the functionality of Tagalong with SLP v 4.7.8. Power add-on replaces ProPAck, Tagalong, Pages, Contact Manager, Directory Builder.
User Managed Locations is a third party add-on. You need to address questions regarding that add-on in DeBaats Third Party forum.
I mentioned in our initial email concerning Premier, you had concerns about upgrading to Premier. But if you upgrade to Premier in a reasonable amount of time we can generate a coupon to offset the sign up fee. You can request a coupon via email to support . The coupon would only be valid for a one time use to offset the sign up fee.
We do not provide “hacks”. It isnt advisable nor supportable with future updates
You may need to look at your theme elements using any developer tool , it will show you if the formatting on your site page is inherited and see if you need to add css. You may alos try different plugin styles, you do not mention which one you are using, P.S. SLP version 4.7.8 is out

SLP has been updated to 4.7.8 as has Power updated to 4.7.8 Power had a fix with reports ability to export to csv file

You have to go back to the Plugin style you had before with the CSS you had before, those plugin styles still work…you did back up that site right?
And I am using an out of the box WP Twentyfifteen or twentytwelve theme one of those, I keep switching …you mentioned you have a paid for theme?
You should use Firebug or some other browser tool in your developer tool box to look at those CSS and script elements….You will then be able to see if the styling is being subjected to your them, inherited from your theme…If it is, the only thing left to do is to write the CSS and add that in the CSS box under Experience/view.

If you had CSS rules before then use those, assuming you copied and saved or can copy and save. I think the whole thing is your them is boxing in that MAP area, because I change my map sizes and they save no problem., Once you can get that area fixed I think a lot of your issues will be gone.
We cant fix the plug in styles to work with everyone’s themes, they have to be sort of generic.
Or is this a fresh install, you are talking about , in a new site and therefore you do not have the old Plugin styles?? Are you using something like VaultPress? Now I am confused

Ahhh yes, our friends down under, do not under estimate, my Aussi friend is looking at my site and wants to see the locations nearest me…but, all kidding aside I understand your angst.
Google has a blind side for Australia, some zip codes they send anywhere but Australia, even Denmark. We have a few tricks that we have employed. First , could you provide your plugin environment? Do you have any add-ons, what versions?

Are all your clients locations in Australia? If so use the shortcode on the WP page that you have SLP map appear on,
For example my test site I have one page with the shortcode

Or if they have Experience Add-on you can append Australia so that Google will always look there first.

Another way around it, especially if there are locations in multiple countries, is by having the search form label with help tool, i.e. require more unique address information or you can Have dropdown by city by state, by country,
add in the search box the label to enter City and county or zip and state, or use the Widgets for SLP, all those features are part of the Experience add-on.

Ok, I have let Lance know, when he has some time he will look at it. Do you want the new site tmap and style to look like the old one?

It may look a little wonky , it is very simple because I am constantly changing settings and testing to see what can be changed to recreate customer issues…of course then Lance asks me what I changed to break something and I usually have to say , I have NO freaking $%E% idea….

As you can see on my test site , my map is square but I am not using a normal search form since I have it set up specifically for a friend from Australia who is visiting next month.

P.S. About the arguing, I did a search of the word” Export” in forums and I believe there was a big foo foo food fight from one of our customers who didn’t like my answer to someone else…even though I answered them that ProPACK VERSION 4.6.5 worked perfectly fine with SLP versions 4.7.7. I test it on a regular basis and so does the developer, Lance. I guess he came to my defense and I didnt even realize that was out there. I guess everyone thinks its ok in a forum to throw mud since it is more informal. I personally do not understand it. There are real people behind the curtain.

The forums are useful for specific questions that cannot be answered or are not clear in the documents. We try to make the documentation as clear as possible but one size doesn’t fit all.

Do NOT jump major versions, take some baby steps first. All kinds of wonky things can happen depending on your configuration, server, php versions
I think I saw an email to support. As far as if you use ProPack, first of all the newer version of ProPack will most likely not work with the antique version of SLP . So you can find a version of SLP Core plugin that you need here.

The older add-ons will probably not work as you go along. Power add-on includes the functionality of Contact Extender, Pages and ProPack.
There is a lot to think about when switching off an old site and developing a new site. Lance wrote some excellent suggestions in the docs site New channel
As far as discount, or trading up. If it is within a reasonable time frame we will give you a discount via a coupon. If the purchase of the upgrade is within 30 days , equal value…as time goes on the value will mist likely diminish. It is then at the discretion of the support team (me) or the developer, author of the plugin. Sometimes if he really likes someone, or they send him some cool rum, he is even downright generous.
If you are going to use the Pages and Contact Extender and Import functionality it is definitely a better value to buy Power.
If you are a web designing, marketing, developer, software guru or have multiple clients we prefer you buy the Premier subscription iaw the EULA and fair business practices that we all abide by.
ProPack works fine with SLP v 4.7.7. The world keeps on a turning . You do not have to update anything you do not want to , just don’t update anything and you will be fine. The direction of SLP and having less add-ons to maintain , to make them more streamline was announced more than a half dozen times over the past 18 months.
