@ Travis.
If this is not a new site domain or if you havent just moved it over from another site (see above references in docs)
Using Janitor free SLP pluginwhat is your option initial radius? I do not see one set when I inspected your site.
Do you have a debug Log you could share with the developer?
https://docs.storelocatorplus.com/blog/debugging-with-debug-log/
CiciKeymaster@ Amanda
The answer I provided Krista. In her case she is creating a new dev site…that means a new domain and that means you need the Google MAP API.
Your site shows a failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) Assume you also have a dev site with a domain that needs the Google API
when visiting your url and looking under Physicians directory I do not see the Power plugin. That leads me to believe that it is perhaps under construction and you are using a virtual site or dev site. without accurate plugin info/url info I cant assist you.

You reference both tags and categories, which search method are you using;

May 23, 2017 at 11:16 AM in reply to: No locations found… Searches not working with Power add on #46095CiciKeymasterIs this a new domain, as in it didn’t exist before June 2016? Since it is being called 2017 amanti I assume you are revamping or creating a new one. In any event you will need the Google MAP API, see the getting started guide
You are receiving a warning that you do not have the Google MAP APi and you need one. That has nothing to do with categories. No search even without categories will work on any WP locator plugin without it unless you were grandfathered in by Google pre 2016
CiciKeymasterYou should be doing scheduled imports (documentation) and geocoding. That is what those options are for. Yes, it does create a WP “page” for each location. That is required to properly utilize WP categories so you should not try to bypass it.
Under the documentation for Large Lists import
MySQL import info in documentation:
“If checked , use the faster MySQL Load Data method of file processing. Only base plugin data can be loaded, see the approved field name list. This feature will only import basic location data. It does not import extended data fields or (formerly lkown as Tagalong) category data. If you use this along with pre-entered latitude and longitude values you can import 100,000 locations in less than 10 minutes on a basic web server. The column headers must be included in the file and must match the basic fields. You do NOT need to include all columns. “
There is other information under the Large Lists import that you need to take into consideration including the Google API limits, php, WP limitation etc.

CiciKeymasterBased on your communication via email with the developer, there will be a patch for Experience, to be released as 4.7.10 if it passes testing. thanks
CiciKeymasterCould you provide your Plugin environment? (see posting guidelines for the info needed) That would help us assist you.
May 22, 2017 at 11:52 AM in reply to: No locations found… Searches not working with Power add on #46080CiciKeymasterAre you searching by categories? If so please update Power add-on to 4.7.10 there was a bug fix in Power 4.7.10
CiciKeymasterOk, Update to Power 4.7.10 there was a bug in the categories settings, that with the recent updates to Wp made things a bit wonky.
CiciKeymasterWhat to buy : FAQ should help. We do have many physician finders using our Plugin with add-ons. They usually have a combination of Power and Experience add-on, or Premier.
If you want a directory builder for example that would be the Power add-on.
If all you want is discrete search and you want to customize the layout you could do that with Experience. But if you want Physicians to fall into certain categories or tags that is included with the Power add-on.
Are you planning on importing large lists? Import is Power. Location sensor (nearest the users location) is in Power. Location sensor is dependent on the browser and your security credentials. Otherwise a Search by radius is the default
See Documentation for more info on all these features and functionality of each area that interests you but it sounds like you would need both Power and Experience and the best value with all the features and those add-ons and more would be the Premier add-on. Premier subscribers also can request specialized styles and customization (Customization is a separate fee depending on the complexity)
The developer has customized a physician search for many customers , any special features he added to premier.
CiciKeymasterOk, that isnt an option at the moment
CiciKeymasterPlease reference your order number in the contact info and please post what the issue is here in the forums with your plugin environment so we can address your concerns.
CiciKeymasterPower 4.7.10 is in Production. You should also update Experience add-on to the latest version
CiciKeymasterUpdate Power to 4.7.10. There was a bug fix . The WP 4.7.x changed taxonomy get as well
May 19, 2017 at 11:08 AM in reply to: BUG?! Assigned categories vanish when locations are updated! #46027CiciKeymasterThats Ok I do not need the Janitor info. Just letting you know that there was a bug found and somehow the categories test suite managed to slip through the cracks which is why we couldn’t find the bug. The Developer, Lance has now found the bug with Power. If you have a dev site I would try the POWER 4.7.10 beta release. If not I would wait until he puts it in Production.
CiciKeymasterThat will show the map though but not the markers, I do not know of a way to do that currently and that might require the developer to add a plugin style or customize. I will bring it up to him. Currently special additional features or customization is only available to the Premier members.
CiciKeymasteruncheck the “Show results box under Setting/results.
or if you want to disable until after startup that option
requires the Experience Add-on

May 19, 2017 at 10:44 AM in reply to: BUG?! Assigned categories vanish when locations are updated! #46022CiciKeymasterWolfram, An issue with WP 4.7.4 a bug was found , something to do with taxonomies so thjey are coming out with 4.7.5
Lance looked further into categories with a Premier member and he found an issue in POWER 4.7.9. Not sure when it was introduced , it could have been back with power 4.7.6 but he now has a pre release 4.7.10 of Power that is in testing. If you have a dev or staging site and wish to test 4.7.10 Power and provide feedback it would be much appreciated. Our premier member raputin has tested it and he said it now works correctly. Lance is finished his testing suite and will release Power version 4.7.10 in the next day or two if you want to wait.
Thanks for your persistence and I hope this fixes any issues going further.
CiciKeymasterPlease provide us with your Plugin Environment . When I went to that link it shows that you are using Power version 4.7.4 with SLP version 4.7.9.
So if you could provide your plugin environment per the posting guidelines I might be able to assist you
CiciKeymasterThe values would be under the Settings/Search/Appearance/layout.
Additional CSS can be found under the Settings/view. Some themes take precedence over the SLP plugin styles , that was why I was asking about your theme.
Click this link for additional information about the Plugin styles and what can be done.
I have asked Lance to take a look at this post too when he has a chance. I cannot re-create the issues you are having with this particular style, so that is why I am thinking it has to do with your combination of plugins or theme. If something is not changing and settings arent sticking Lance will want to know.
CiciKeymasterOnce we know which Plugin style you have and/or need , Lance will be able to add it in for you as a gallery style. Premier customers are being given special consideration to make sure they can access their style with one click. That should make it easier to keep updated with version releases without having to take additional steps. I apologize for any inconvenience. I have asked Lance to take a look at this as well.
Thanks
CiciKeymasterSee this info under our docs site Troubleshooting grey map
Please when asking questions or help in forum ,please read the posting guidelines and provide the info requested about your plugin environment, versions, url
CiciKeymasterLance is requesting additional information from anyone who is having categories issues. I also believe it may be related to the WP 4.7.4 update. I will put this on his watch list. We have not been able to get to the bottom of it right now. If you could run a debug and send the debug log to our Support we can make sure he prioritizes and looks into it for you.
CiciKeymasterWhich SLP Plugin style are you using?
Perhaps there was something leftover from a previous SLP style and/or if you had a previous Legacy add-on. Could you tell me what you have under view for Plugin Style? Lance made a lot of changes and added Gallery styles, if you had previous styles they should also be available.
For instance, I am using the gallery style Map Minimal default under my search layout the correct div code is search element input with label = address…therefore anything I put in the label section “addresss” Appears in the output
(Settings/Appearance) The search layout is this:
<div id=”address_search” class=”slp search_box”>
[slp_addon location=”very_top”]
[slp_search_element input_with_label=”name”]
[slp_search_element input_with_label=”address”]
[slp_search_element dropdown_with_label=”city”]
[slp_search_element dropdown_with_label=”state”]
[slp_search_element dropdown_with_label=”country”]
[slp_search_element selector_with_label=”tag”]
[slp_search_element dropdown_with_label=”category”]
[slp_search_element dropdown_with_label=”gfl_form_id”]
[slp_addon location=”before_radius_submit”]
<div class=”search_item”>
[slp_search_element dropdown_with_label=”radius”]
[slp_search_element button=”submit”]
</div>
[slp_addon location=”after_radius_submit”]
[slp_addon location=”very_bottom”]
</div>
CiciKeymasterYou will have errors if the sl_id is different. It’s best to not have sl_id unless you are following one of the duplicates handling rules. For others who might not understand how you accomplished your unique issues : See more info in the docs site.
