    P.S. With Experience add-on you can have a drop down by country discrete search, you also need to set your search settings to be “worldwide” and not on one specific country , also set the results search to a large number under settings/results) See the docs site about both of these options. And you may want to read the experience add-on product details as well.

    Hi Kevin,
    I had reported the broken links in the back end that go to the docs and now that Lance had
    a break in his busy schedule , he was able to find the problem with one of the WordPress updates and dedicate some time to fix them. They should be working now. The documentation is a little bit more complicated now that there are two different products using the docs site.
    If there is something that you see that needs to be updated let me know. I try to update the documentation when I see the issue. We will take your suggestion and add a Multisite info page.

    Do you have a Network Admin person? There are settings for the master site ,like the premier subscription ids, that apply across all subsites.

    if WP engine changed that setting , that indicates they think you are running multisite

    There are advanced settings when you do that you need to know and it completely changes the db structure

    Please review the WP info about multisite network

    After doing whatever it is they did. Did you try to Reinstall the plugins Manually? We honestly have never had anyone have this kind of a problem with their subscription. And we have had a few new customers purchase their subscriptions in August.

    Scheduled imports, make sure you have WPCRON working and that the files are accessible.

    I have asked the developer to check the scheduled imports.

    In Documentation clik on the WordPress Self Managed plugin inside and there aretags and key words on right hand side, or you can search in the search box where the magnifying glass is .

    Skip geodocing is self explanatory ( I thought) If ALL of your locations have a latitude/longitude check skip geocoding. This way if you export and delete all locations and reimport you will not get hit with the geocoding fees from Google if there is already a lat/long.

    Clear messages: if you have under general tab the “LOG Import messages” turned on, then this will clear those messages
    Scheduled imports you also have a checkbox under the general Setting that needs to be checked off.

    I am trying to folow the stgeps you are taking, when you say you have tried everything. I need to be able to explain it to the developer. Also if you have Premier there are more options. Also make sure you have flushed your cacheing
    The site url you provided does not leave the country if I search for outside of the U.S. t when I searched for London I only see the center of the US I do not see a different map load and could not locate address

    When using the append did you use the shortcode only_with> and under results/settings change the after start up miles to a lower number. Change the default radius to a lower number as well

    For instance I have a page for Costa rica, Because Google is U.S centric the search for anything in Dan Jose would always go to calif.

    I added this shortcode on my page and now it always searches only that country on that page

    Ok, You can also try uninstalling Power and then reinstalling, the developer thinks it is the caching and the lazy load which may fragment the plugin script thus not ordering the script in the updates in the manner they were written. Maybe if you try turning off the lazy load on your test site and updating the plugins?
    Let us know…Not sure why it wouldn’t let you post, maybe the chain was two pages long now. if your Premier is active you can also post in Premier forum.

    That isn’t the way the Google API Map and SLP work. (How search and radius work) It will always go to the destination searched unless you have a discrete filter or append to stay in just one country.. The other forum question , the answer was this:
    Once the search has initiated on the site the google geocoding API kicks in.
    There may be a way for you to write some special code but it is not something we can do within the self managed WPSLP free plugin and still have it communicate and use the google MAP API. You can add shortcodes viA the add-ons if you want it to only search in one country for instance or only within x radius etc

    You can hide the map entirely with Experience add-on, or have a discrete search or a dropdown of countries or cities where your locations do exist. That way your customers will not be searching all over the world and your Google MAP views will not be pinged every time they do perform a search just to be told No locations found…it might help you and the customers if you showed thrm a list of the areas that do have locations. But that is totally up to you.

    The feature you are inquiring about does not exist within our plugin

    I just noticed the first screen shot you provided shows this :This Info Cached:1557439858

    And now I visited your site (now shows the https://www.racewaycarwash.com/wp-content/cache/busting/1/wp-content/plugins/store-locator-le/js/slp_core.min-1567088649.js
    which is the current version..) and no location sensor pop up

    Did yoiu figure it out already and clear the cache? Or did it clear itself?

    Andrew, Spoke to the developer. Since your update did not correct the location sensor issue as intended, which was fixed with the last update with SLP and Power, we started thinkibng of other things to ty firt.
    Did you flush your caching/
    You may need to manually clear the WordPress cache that relates to WordPressor plugin updates. Specifically, whenever plugin and theme updates occur, you should purge the cache afterward to ensure that any changes made to the code, files, or the outward appearance of the website go into effect on the next HTTPS request.
    Since you are using lazy load, the scripts in the updates may not have loaded in the correct order. The developer says that can be a big reason why the update did not work properly for you.

    To answer your question about support.
    1) if it is a bug within the SLP plugin and not a conflict with your configuration, your load process or another plugin then you are reimbursed.
    2) the reason for so many suggestions, each site is unique. And each site set-up and configuration is unique. There are thousands of combinations so it is not one answer fits all. As you know over the years the WPSLP plugin and add-ons have more features and are more complex.
    3) The most expensive Log in support by the developer is the most costly. Because he would need to have access to your backend , you would need to have a full back up of your site and you would need to give him sign in admin privileges, he will NOT change your configuration, nor fix your themes, nor fix your other plug-ins nor settings, he troubleshoots and tells you what the problem is. As mentioned there are so many other products and plugins and themes and things like WP Rocket and lazy load of assets and caching all play a part in your particular site update process.

    If you flush the caching, and that doesnt fix it. Turn off the WP Rocket lazy lpoad and update the SLP and Power plugin manually.

    If these do not help you can email support and when the developer has time next week he will use the browser inspect tool and will be more explicit, he is knowledgeable about all sorts of other things that I may not be able to think of..

    Since you are using premier, you may want to also request access to SLACK via email. he will only add a contact who is technical and understands basics of javascript, he isnt always on SLACK but that is another way to reach him when he is working on SLP.

    on the bottom clcik on the link for support, this may also be a solution for your exports timing out to, their are many articles on how to optimize the configuration. You really need a developer or IT person or netowrk administrator to help you if this is above your skill set. I am sorry but I am none of those and I cannot help you with your server configuration, I can only provide you suggestions as to what might be going on with your site since you are using WordPress self managed plugin solutions

    Just explain to them that the security llevel is over zealous and to look into why your site cannot communicate with the SLP plugin

    contact their support, either through WP engine or Cloudflare they should be able to walk you through it. We cannot do anything on our end.

    check your WP tables., obviously something did not restore correctly.

    We have no insight into the self managed WPSLP plugins, the locations are not stored on pur server (unlike the MYSLP SaaS products)

    Follow the Forum posting guidelines if you need assistance. The screenshot you have attached does not provide any information for us to assist you.
    we cannot guess at what versions of SLP, WP, PHP, nor your site url and you do not have orders in the system for the user name you signed in with.

    Not really, that is outside of my purview for support, when the developer is back in town, if you choose a paid support option we may be able to get him engaged but for in depth troubleshooting the ticket is high. For email support, please note there is no same day option since we are in the middle of a hurricane evacuation and expect to lose power. As mentioned in previous replies your site is highly customized so it could be a plethora of conflicts but the most likely is your theme. Did you restore to a back-up and try that?

    Please note that the developer will tell you to back up and if you need him to log in and troubleshoot your site that is a paid support option so I would suggest you restore  to your back-up.  also check the PHP , javascript issues mentioned in troubleshooting , that may help you . I do not see your plugin environment so do not see what versions  of PHP you are using

    On your test site or any site, save and back up first, try a WP theme , try turning off other plug-ins, suggest the Bridge. If you migrated JavaScript make sure all the  WP tables were migrated.

    Andrew, If you look at your debug log, all the issues point to the Bridge theme and plugin and PHP  undefined, there is not one that I can see that shows any errors for SLP.  Normally I would suggest you go with the paid support but since there are no errors for SLP , the developer would probably point you in the direction of contacting the theme developer or plugin.   If yiou need him to troubleshoot he will be back on Friday or Sat after the hurricane has passed.

    When I visit your site I do not see any issues….and under the SLP plugin you have Rocket lazy load which is customized js but it is loading.

    there is NO search form for me to add an address, only categories so I do not  know how I can recreate your issue .  I inspected but was “forbidden access” This is above  and beyond the SLP support . you have a ton of customization and I am not sure what you expect to happen when some buttons are checked off.     I did not say we would not support the plugin, I only said I could not recreate your issue because I have no set ups at all with your type of customized multi level ways to search by list byt map by category, etc but with no actual address search box.

    did you do a back up that you can restore to  before you updated? If you believe it is simply an update issue, restore and test.

    Where are you seeing the Geocode activate request denied?

    to troubleshoot yourself, it depends on what level permissions you have but you can check if you are using a Proxy server, there are many articles on the net about this: example

    I am not Network IT savvy but I have been able to change via control panel and white list certain sites.

    I do now your particular set-up and that is beyond the scope of my help for this Plug-in.

    Hey Kevin,
    I tested your premier subscription user Id and Premier subscription number and it came back as valid with no errors. This indicates one of two things:

    1)Either you have entered it in wrong with a character
    or your server is blocking all communication to our server which is required to validate the license.
    I am guessing since you entered manually it is the latter, your server is blocking communication with our server.
