CiciKeymasterThat is not the store locator plus shortcode. Apparently someone must have had a different Store Locator Plug in at one point, mixing the two would cause an issue.

If you have the discrete drop down filters and they select a city you should get only results for that city if you have the results disable initial directory set. But you are also having them search with multiple criteria on same search form and am I correct that you have :show all at startup” set? I believe the issue may be with using “country” to substitute yet another drop down (morning evening or afternoon) that is not properly set up and probably isn’t working with the SLP v 4.6.
SLP core plugin had lines of code moved around to be efficient and in the right place and works with the newer Add-ons and WP. I do not know the exact lines but it could explain your issue if that line of code was loosely interpreted before to not “really” be country but a free form field or if someone manipulated it on your site with their own coding or CSS .
Instead of forcing a data field that is part of an address to be something other than what it was intended to be, you might want to set the various time frames to be a Parent child category Parent as “Time” for instance, you can still rank them. Or you can look at the directory list approach (although I m not sure you will get the results you are looking for)
The Experience Add-on replaces Enhanced Search, Enhanced Results, and adds Widgets with a SEPARATE drop down filter by city. This was introduced in the Experience add-on ( not available in the Widgets Legacy add-on).
I think you would have better results if you used one of the above methods. (if you would like to purchase Experience please send an email to support to request a coupon or take the hosting survey and request a coupon there for a deeper discount if your legacy add-ons are more than a year old)

I am not trying to up sell you, I just don’t understand the logic of how someone got that to work that way before. It was pretty imaginative but the search is now slow and bogged down.
In addition, as a though with the Premier subscription you can have the Parent child hierarchical relationship on the same search form, thus eliminating all the cross reference with tags , categories and improvisation. There is an information tutorial video that Lance published on that very feature, even though in the tutorial he refers to legacy add-ons (Experience and Power didn’t exist at the time the feature came out for Premier ) the idea is the same. ( if you want to upgrade to Premier, send email to support to request a coupon and if you have made a recent purchase of Power or Experience the price will be deducted from the fee, see reference in the Product description.)
Otherwise I can’t think of any other suggestions. I do not work or test Legacy add-ons with the current version of SLP any longer and if there is a glitch I can’t test it.

CiciKeymasterOk so I gather that means you are using Enhanced Legacy add-ons versions 4.3.xx Are you using Extended data. I cannot tell what you have active from your post.
Where is the SLP_Web_Link_Manager being used on your site? Are you using Pages…It is difficult for me to ascertain without info, even if you have the latest versions it doesnt tell me which add-ons you are using and which are activated on your site, perhaps you could send the info in to support if you do not wish to share the info in the forums

You cannot adjust a zoom based on location sensor per map page. Keep in mind location sensor only works as good as the browser people are using, Chrome doesn’t allow it on un-secure (not https) sites and Google Maps newer versions do not require Location sensor. Info on how the zoom function works
You could Hide the map until a search is done and have the zoom adjusted to zoom in there. You could also try to overide the zoom by using shortcodes on an individual page if you have more than one page with a Map on it
For instance I have a page
[SLPLUS map_region=”cr” center_map_at=”San Jose, Costa Rica” theme=”blank_mapfix”, initial_radius=”500″ zoom=”5″]
you can change the zoom to zero for a closer zoom on that one map page, (zoom adjustment)
Also remember the radius behavior and settings also play into the formula. So you can tweak different settings to get the optimum user experience

I have tested the SLP 4.6.2 and WP 4.6.1 and am not experiencing any issues. Did you update them both at the same time?
When you updated did you refresh or clear the cache? There was a new distance formula at start until a search is done. This is based on the built in geosensor. The distance shows as 0 when first loading

There was an issue with some versions of WP being used with some versions of SLP, it was fixed.
I do not know what your versions are or what you are running for add-ons , etc since you did not provide the info . Are you still using the Enhanced Legacy products you bought a few years ago? If so, and since you have so many, I would suggest updating to premier subscription. We welcome knowledgeable web developers and you may request a coupon to get a discount off the sign up fee. If you email support I can provide you more info on that.
You say one of the sites, if not the others, what is different between the two, please provide more info or check the debugging info under Troubleshooting.

Are the “days coming from a category, or tags? or is this a widget or CSS added in your theme?

I see the previous conversations, I visited your site, I searched by city, by meeting type by day. What exactly isn’t working? I searched with a few different criteria and it seemed to be working. Is it that the city selected isnt showing only that city? Have you adjusted the radius behavior and distance?
The search by city is not coming from the Tagalong or Power add-on. That is part of the Experience Add-on or Enhanced Search, or Widgets
the Power add-on and SLP are being tested on 4.6.3 now. See the @locatorplus tweets on the sidebar of the forum. The developer is updating everyone as he is working.
I noted in your last post that you also have all the Enhanced add-ons and they were also legacy. All of those are part of the Experience add-on now.
You have a lot of variables in that site to mix and match with a complex search filter, it might not be the best way to handle what you are trying to accomplish.
I cannot recreate it since I am using Experience Add-on. With that many variables in your search I cant tell you where to look other than the radius behavior settings, the search by distance . etc.
The Experience Add-on grouped Enhanced Search, Enhanced Results, Enhanced Maps and Widgets together and that is where any patches or updates will occur. Those add-ons all work some piece of the jigsaw puzzle and are reliant on each others settings, thus why they are now grouped together. (see FAQ Legacy vs new features add ons)
If you have the Power Add-on, and also need all the Enhanced Add-ons, have you considered just updating to the Premier subscription? Premier provides you ALL the updates, the newest versions, additional features not found in the other add-ons , access to the Premier support forum (answered first) and a chance to be invited to Slack where you can find the developer most days .
Send an email to support if you would like to discuss getting a discount coupon for Premier. I think it might save you a lot of time and effort if you are trying to keep multiple add-ons updated.

Things That Break The Locator
These are the most common reasons why the locator stops working on a site:
- Another plugin or theme is breaking JavaScript. (see how to check this)
- Your site running the latest minimum versions of PHP or MySQL required by WordPress.
- You have not upgraded your SLP add ons to the latest version.
- Your site has disabled the WordPress AJAX handler.
- Your site has disabled the REST API handler.
CiciKeymasterIf they updated SLP to 4.6.1 and did not update WP to 4.6 there will be an error.
If you are using MUlTISITE – upgrading SLP to 4.6.2 fixes “not an array” error that would cause white screen on upgrade for sites using WP 4.6+
* Fix stripslashes_from_strings_only() undefined function for sites running old “crusty” WordPress (you really should update to WordPress for security reasons if nothing else).

Please note that the import runs in the background, if you do not allow enough time for it to finish up loading and start the import again, all it will do is slow down the import, hit it again, and now you have three imports running in the background. This can slow down your server and may never get to the end of your list and will create duplicates . If you want to get your locations import to go faster, check into your server configuration to make sure you are running latest versions of PhP
You can also select to skip geocoding . Once all files have imported, you can go back to the bulk actions and select “geocode all uncoded” , the skip geocoding and geocode later also helps if you are on a shared server where your google API max is established per IP address. (see documentation about how Google counts towards your max free limits)
I hope these notes assist you with understanding how the import works,
as mentioned the auto delete feature may be added in the future to wither Power or Premier , if it is something you want immediately, you can request a customization through the contact email in the customization

I was ill and had a personal issue to deal with , sorry I couldn’t jump on this same day . If it was working and they didn’t do anything else other than import, then did they update WordPress or anything else , other plugins recently? Are they still using versions SLP 4.5.13 and 4.5.07 for the add-ons.
I cannot see anything in their site, you can follow the Troubleshooting guide and follow the Debugging instructions. Without error logs I cannot tell what is going on.
