Under city setting is correct, use drop down address input or discrete.
Under State use dropdown discrete
Under country use dropdown discrete
Make sure you click the green save box on upper right of your page and when you check the site url, refresh your page
CiciKeymasterYou want Parent/child hierarchy but you also want a mix and match of unlike categories?
Review the Premier subscription info to see if that table data hierarchy will solve their needs.
https://docs.storelocatorplus.com/blog/putting-results-in-a-table-format/
Additional features for Categories with built-in complex logic for parent /child drop-downs to be displayed in your search form are available only with the Premier subscription. A tutorial video on the SLP YouTube Channel is available for this additional feature with premier.
CiciKeymasterIf you mean when a visitor visits your site, that is still WPML or similar platform add-on.
See
https://docs.storelocatorplus.com/blog/using-store-locator-plus-on-multilingual-sites/
and also for more info.
https://docs.storelocatorplus.com/blog/countries-and-languages/
CiciKeymasterThere are a variety of styles available to you under the Settings/View tab. If there are none that fit what you would like to see exactly or that you need to work with your theme, you can use CSS to change line items, fonts colors etc. Basic knowledge of html is required. You may also use the Experience Add-on to change the locator layout .
To change the Search form Style see docs page here. ( I think that is what you are looking for if you want it on the click here to search) .
To change the RESULTS settings and appearance see the docs page here.
If you need a customized solution or additional features and functionality, that would be under the venue of the Premier Subscription which also provides you with dibs on customized layouts, Gallery plugin styles would be created for you when the developer adds more content or has free time to add styles.
June 8, 2017 at 12:24 PM in reply to: No locations found… Searches not working with Power add on #46245CiciKeymasterKrista, Looking back at your previous topics. You are a web designer/developer and are using the add ons but have not purchased the SLP multi site license as a Premier subscriber. You also have errors on your site that are not from SLP. Nonetheless , you can write to support about a refund, (they will have to clear it through the developer who may have additional questions for you)
June 7, 2017 at 1:25 PM in reply to: After Transfer, Experience and Power Packs won't activate #46236CiciKeymasterPlease, Start a New post and follow the posting guidelines, i.e. your Plugin environment, etc. I was out for a week for my mothers funeral and I do not know where you are at or which question you are now asking but the topic title that your add-ons will not activate is no longer applicable correct?
Please note that Email questions and forum posts can take up to a week to see a response here. We do not have full time support staff to answer all the questions and your questions keep changing so , to be fair you asked the new question only 2 days ago.
So If you could start a new post it would help.
CiciKeymasterPlease read the Posting guidelines and provide the required information.
A lot of things can effect location sensor including the security of your site. If you had ProPack (it is a LEGACY add-on and no longer supported) and updated SLP recently, ProPack would have been disabled and you either need to buy the Power add-on or roll back. See other forum posts on that subject or read the resolution in docs site
https://docs.storelocatorplus.com/blog/store-locator-plus-featured-add-ons-versus-legacy-add-ons/
CiciKeymaster@ Amanda,
Please provide the actual PAGE url where you have the search by whichever.
You should use one or the other not both. See the docs site about tags vs categories
For instance you can use the Parent child hierarchy in the taxonomy under the categories manager. If you are ranking under categories that will also effect which comes up when a search is being performed which comes up first.
Also search the Power Key word in the docs site menu or tags or categories to make sure you have the Locator Layout set up correctly. For instance
June 7, 2017 at 1:04 PM in reply to: No locations found… Searches not working with Power add on #46231CiciKeymasterTroubleshooting is in our documentation.

Is this your current site or the old one because you are still getting the invalid Google API key warning,
util.js:220 Google Maps API warning: InvalidKey https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#invalid-key
inspect your page with any browser by right clicking and using Inspect
Check to make sure ANY and all of your plugins or YOUR theme (Avada) are current including WooCommerce and using jquery 1.12 or higher

CiciKeymasterYou do not have a secure site so Google will not allow the auto-location sensor (with Power add-on) where the visitor is located adn nearest to them. You need to look at the default radius again, perhaps when you switched to kilometers your settings needed to be changed.
When I searched on your site 29464 which is in SC and used 7500 km I saw locations in Canada and Europe.
if all your locations are in Canada and Europe , you may want to add instructions in the Search Box or use the Experience add-on to allow for discrete searches and/or a Widget drop down with the city or area to choose from by state, province or country.
See documentation for Search and Results
‘
CiciKeymasterIt shouldn’t be automatically checked:
under Settings/MAP/Functionality There is a box that says Use scrollwheel to zoom…you want to make sure that is unchecked.
When posting in the forums please be sure to follow the Forum Posting Guidelines and provide the information (including your plugin environment) so that we can assist you.
June 2, 2017 at 3:23 PM in reply to: After Transfer, Experience and Power Packs won't activate #46191CiciKeymasterP.S. Premier customers receive preference for, and can request specific styles and layouts and the developer will accommodate them on a first come first serve basis as his schedule allows.
June 2, 2017 at 3:21 PM in reply to: After Transfer, Experience and Power Packs won't activate #46190CiciKeymasterIf you are trying to change color scheme to override your theme or style that is CSS rules . You can add CSS rules under Settings/View/CSS
Results Layout is under Settings/Results/Appearance. With Experience Add-on you can change the way the results appear.
See the docs site.for Layout
There are also some tutorial videos that may help you

CiciKeymasterPlease provide your Plugin environment and other info required per the Posting Guidelines
June 2, 2017 at 3:11 PM in reply to: No locations found… Searches not working with Power add on #46188CiciKeymasterWe cannot help you without you providing the debug log. Instructions are Under Troubleshooting
May 31, 2017 at 2:08 PM in reply to: After Transfer, Experience and Power Packs won't activate #46180CiciKeymasterYes the Google API follows the IP address and you will need a new one . See getting started and more info about transfers under FAQ
View is the Plugin Style, under Gallery there are a bunch, you can still access the others if you have a directory available. The Locator Layout is so you can move things around but the Gallery Layout takes precedence and is a one click option, you also should see a CSS box where you can add your own tweaks to settings to work with your theme
By the way if you have both Experience and Power, you should look at getting Premier, there are styles that are only available to Premier and additional functionality and features not in any of the other add-ons. Support should be able to generate a coupon towards the sign up fee to alleviate the cost. If those purchases for EXP and POWER are more then 90 days but less then a year a coupon for a lesser credit , (but some sort of discount ) can probably be generated. Contact support if you want the Premier add-on and receive a coupon.
May 30, 2017 at 11:47 AM in reply to: No locations found… Searches not working with Power add on #46158CiciKeymasterYou Exported from an old site and imported to a new site? Did you read the Documentation explaining how to do that and about the sl_id etc (which you would not use on a new site because the id will not be the same.)
The link for the Maps API is to the Google Developer console and how to get the API. You need to put the key in the right box on SLP under General/Server/Google Developers Console/ Google Browser key (NOT Google Business license.)
Are you trying to find locations closest to the person (location sensor enabled) or do you have a specific search map area in mind (requires Experience add-on) where you would use the short code something like this.
[SLPLUS center_map_at=”Brisbane,Australia”]
If you still cant get what you need, after setting either your center map either under the settings /Map or on the Dealer page itself , then you need to use the debug log and use Troubleshooting to find out if another Plugin or your theme is preventing SLP from working correctly because I cannot recreate your issue.
if you need pro help from the developer to log into your site or another team support person to look into your specific situation there is an option to purchase the help at the level you need via the Paid support button
This isn’t a simple setting issue and you have something else going on that I cannot assess here.
May 29, 2017 at 3:47 PM in reply to: No locations found… Searches not working with Power add on #46145CiciKeymasterAre you restricting using a referrer id from the Google MAP API,? When I look at your link it is definitely doing something weird and thus is not from the SLP plugin. Google MAP API will NOT work if you have that situation, (It is a known failure from Google Developer console)
If it isn’t that then you will need to follow debugging or other hints that are in the Troubleshooting guide to see if your theme or another plugin is causing a hiccup which will cause Locator to not work.
May 29, 2017 at 3:24 PM in reply to: No locations found… Searches not working with Power add on #46144CiciKeymasterWhat are you referring to exactly when you say no categories no results, those are two different topics
Unless you have the Category manager set to show the categories in either a drop down menu or cascading it will not give you a choice to search by category.
In the documentation read Search using Category
Turn on a simple drop down menu or cascading parent category menu with automatically displayed/hidden child menus for users to filter location results by assigned categories.
Or you can use a shortcode to show categories only in your results on your WP page or Post, see documentation if you want to change results settings
Also make sure your radius is set high enough on initial search under Settings/Search. How search works documentation
What Settings do you have for Results after start up?
Have you set the categories to search with a drop down, cascading or other?
What style are you using do you want or have a legend? Do you have the category set to have an icon? If you are saying that you have No results found at all when searching in the correct zip code I need to know more, all I see is your test or dev site which doesn’t tell me much.
https://docs.storelocatorplus.com/blog/layout-shortcode-cheat-sheet/
Did you move Tables and categories from another site, see documentation about how the taxonomy and WP database works here
May 28, 2017 at 12:28 PM in reply to: No locations found… Searches not working with Power add on #46136CiciKeymasterPower is now 4.7.11,.have you tried changing your radius? What are your settings under the Categories admin panel, I did not see a list of categories, did you remove the Power add-on or deactivate it recently from this site . I went to your site and cannot see anywhere to enter a categories dropdown.
May 28, 2017 at 12:12 PM in reply to: After Transfer, Experience and Power Packs won't activate #46134CiciKeymasterThat does not say it is not compatible with WP 4.7. It says that you must update the Experience add-on to 4.7.10 it is not compatible with the Store Locator Plus base plugin 4.7.10. Update the Experience add-on, you should see an auto update when you deactivate the plugin ( Experience ) but since you are skipping so many versions you may need to log into your SLP account and download the newer version from the Downloads in your account.
We are now on 4.7.10 of SLP and Experience is 4.7.10.
Please refer to versions here.
CiciKeymasterThis is not an issue with the Power add-on nor the SLP current versions. If anything the efficiencies have been improved. The CSV meta should be enabled automatically via the Power file import module. If it is not able to do so it is likely due to a restriction in the server PHP environment.
If you are on a shared hosting plan, especially a lower-end GoDaddy hosting plan, consider upgrading your hosting. You will likely have issues with completing the entire file import without experiencing a timeout. Google restricts how many of their services can be used by a single server.
If there are 20,000 other companies on the same server you will all be sharing the Google quota. As requests for that server get near the daily quota established by Google , your sites performance will be significantly impaired when trying to load the geocoding requests. Note: This can also impact users when they type in their address on your map page as it uses the same Google service to figure out the latitude/longitude for where that address.
CiciKeymasterI misunderstood, you want to change the results layout, same applies under results. Location fields are rendered via the [slp_location <field>] shortcode.
So you would just go into the results layout box, grab the field you want to move, so in your case you would remove the span class and put in the order you want them to appear
slp_result_street”>[slp_location address]</span>
<span class=”slp_result_address slp_result_street2″>[slp_location address2]</span>
<span class=”slp_result_address slp_result_citystatezip”>[slp_location city_state_zip]You can also change and override using CSS guidelines
CiciKeymasterThere is a difference between shortcodes and Layout. You can change the order under the Settings/Search /Appearance/
https://docs.storelocatorplus.com/blog/appearance-layouts/

I spoke to Lance about your issue and we both have looked at your site to try and see what is going on and discovered you have a multilingual plugin.
You are using sitepress-multilingual correct? It is intercepting the translation strings.
Lance has been working forever and on end with WPML tech support and last week he received some answers : “WPML handles data from wp_options table through wpml-config.xml file. But it won’t work on back-end.
This was specifically related to settings like the address/search label.
The only thing we can suggest is to update your WPML strings since they are taking over the entire string I/O process and are not honoring the SLP updates on the admin pages.
In summary they are forcing all plugins to use WordPress ‘init’ instead of ‘plugins_loaded’, but we cannot do that because some WordPress features that SLP uses MUST happen with plugins_loaded. They refuse to change anything because WPML breaks bbPress compatiblity if they support more advanced plugins.
