Whoa, back up., maybe I am understanding…Are you trying to add shortcode SLPUS]] to the individual store pages? The plug in cant work that way. It is fighting with itself and getting confused.
That is the ingredient we are missing in solving what is going on with your site. Please paste the full page template you have crafted

………….. be advised that WordPress changed how shortcodes handle quotes. It cannot handle shortcodes with quotes for attributes within an HTML element that has quotes. There has been a lot of controversy over this move by WordPress but they refuse to change their position citing security concerns. It may require some creative templates to do what you want, but let’s start with pasting your Page template setting here.”

Yes if you need the Developer to Troubleshoot and/or logon to your site you can request with Paid Support.
But beware, he can point you in the right direction, give you specifics but if it is someone else’s Plugin or your theme he will not be able to “fix it” . You might need to ask your theme developer to update the theme (you mentioned you paid him to create?)
As far as finding out where the error is coming from using the WordPress Debugger , there is a tutorial on that, as well as a Tutorial on using the Firefox Debugger.
Excerpt from our Troubleshooting page:
- Plugin Errors, any plugin that does not load properly and does ANYTHING with page header output will break and thus cause a domino effect prevent the Store Locator Plus PHP JavaScript component from loading.
In many cases the cause of the maps not loading is because our PHP JavaScript file could not load. We can often detect this and pop-up the “PHP JavaScript connector did not load” warning. However we cannot catch all errors.
One of the best tools for searching for errors in the HTML page headers is to use Firefox with the Firebug plugin. Turn on the console and check the responses tab for any errors. We have resolved many client installation and map problems with this plugin. More often than not we are finding errors in other plugins, themes, or server configuration settings on the servers. No, our plugin is not perfect and is not 100% bug free (we wish it were) but we are no longer finding bugs in our plugin as the primary culprit in broke installations.
The PHP JavaScript page header is a critical part of a working Store Locator Plus installation. Since it loads very late in the page creation process it is susceptible to failures from almost anything else you may be loading on the page or your WordPress site. The the map is not loading and you are receiving this message get some page debugging/tracking tools like Firebug and isolate any plugins that are generating coding/output errors.
Unfortunately there is no work around for PhP versions. S LP updated to 4.4.36 recently and Lance had to “degrade” SLP to work with lower versions of PhP so if you could update again if you havent recentlly .

Ok, Got it. This looks like it might need to be a paid customization. Could you send a request to support with as much detail as possible so I can forward to the developer. His development schedule is filling up fast, he is booked out to May -June at this time if you both agree on the specs and price.

Send the request to support@storelocatorplus.com and I will make sure Lance sees it. Lance and I had discussed it but he speaks the tech lingo better than I. It should be easy agreed, extended data manager is a DeBaat add-on so am still trying to reach out to him as well.
Multi Map is no longer available due to un resolved issues, That is a Third party add-on and we are not supporting it nor offering it for download at this time.
You can accomplish what you want to do (such as have more than one map with different settings) with Experience and Tagalong Add-ons. See details on the product page and in the documentation.

You can try a few different SLP plugin styles to suit your needs. Many people further customize the styles using CSS. If you know CSS and how to change themes etc you can probably write one to suit your needs. Advanced custom themes info, tutorial videos , etc If you are looking to tweak and override or add CSS rules to the SLP plugin styles ProPack helps with that as well.
Please provide your Plugin environment, site url etc per Posting Guidelines.
The screen shot doesn’t show us your issue. Are you trying to modify the Style/theme? Are you using CSS?
Improvement to SLP Using REST API is a work in progress, the developer has implemented it with the Pages Add-on. I am not technical enough to address the subject. I will ask Lance to weigh in on this when he has free moment.
Your Store Pages locations urls have error messages, i.e. failed to load resources.:
You have a conflict with your theme or the content added on the Store Pages added on the individual store pages another plugin added to those store pages by the looks of it.

Use Firefox debugger or the WP debugger to find the plugin causing the errors, Instructions can be found under Troubleshooting, there is also a tutorial on the SLP You tube channel if you need to review on how to debug using Firefox
P.S. You have a low version of PhP, WP recommended versions are 5.6 .

Hi Rob, I have tested it and I have discussed with the developer,
Your Exnded data, are these special custom fields you have added and are they text, boolean etc
The way you export a boolean field vs. a serialized field vs. a text field is different
Currently it appears that EDM by DeBaat does not have the hooks and filters to allow for the exports.
So to answer your question, it might need to be customized. Depending on how fast you need it etc. If you could provide more info that would be great

Apologize for the delay. I did add this for Debaat to look at, I have now added it to the developer to respond to.
It seems you have all the latest updates, SLP was released today with new version, ditto the Experience add-on. They both have updates. I will ask about this functionality, I thought the export of extended data was working but haven’t checked it recently.
4.4.36 is out and fixes the zoom adj I believe, you can test out the pre release and let us know if it is working on your end as well?
I am so happy that I was able to shed light on crazy excel.
P.S. there is Janitor for SLP it is free. any time you need to reset certain options etc . The bulk action will only delete what is on that particular page, so if it is showing 10 locations then it will only delete 10 locations at a time, if you set the filter to display 50 locations, and then check all and delete permanently , and hit APPLY (I always forget that) it will delete the 50 on that page, ditto 100 etc…. ,
As a side note if you DO ever re-set the Amin UI display to a high number like 1,000 and forget to reset it back down before trying to reload the locations page, it will freeze up the locations page so you wont be able to see it to manage etc,,,if your server cant handle it.
As a result of this happening , more than once to people , the developer added a new feature so you don’t have to use Janitor if that ever happens
Now you can reset the manage locations display right in the SLP base plugin under GENERAL/ADMIN reset manage locations. it resets back to 10 locations per page…on the back end not the front end of course.

Are you using Store Locator Plus Pages add-on to generate the SEO friendly pages? It sounds like that is something that is a PAges feature.
Can you provide me with your Plugin Environment and url, (see Posting guidelines) also your settings under Search , radius and import
Do you have Enhanced Results or Experience add-on with a setting for order results by?
Understand about Excel ,,,,the extra characters sometimes show up in the csv files when a shift/tab or carriage return is inadvertently entered when the data is added in the actual Excel file (and it would be invisible to you in EExcel format unless you viewed the formatting in excel you might see it) . that is why we suggest exporting to Google Docs and downloading to a csv file from there. Excel is crazy depending on versions you use ..it doesn’t forgive you or forget the original format after the fact you need to format the columns before entering. For instance, I had an issue with excel dropping the leading zero on a zip code, that causes the inactive geocoding issue,

Are you saying Google is geocoding incorrectly or that all your locations are showing up on the map as Alabama first?
or that only Alabama isn’t loading at all on import?
If they arent importing at all then it must be those lines in youe csv file or you are over your quota when it gets to those lines? we have nothing against AL and I dont think Google does…they seem to not like Australia zip codes but

Hopefully when the new documentation site is totally up and running it will be easier. Lance is also changing the back end of the Admin UI on the plugin to have links with tags and categories that should make search easier and more intuitive. Thanks for your patience.
P.S. I spoke to him about the custom request also, he said he might be able to squeeze you in during some down time in this next month (he occasionally has time if he has to wait for a customer to get back to him with additional info or testing etc).
I looked at your CSV file and there are still many errors,,,quotes around street addresses, and within the names with double quotes. ::: also spaces where there shouldn’t be after street names, double ampersands
This indicates that the excel file or whatever was used to create the list, someone is adding a hard return or shift tab. or something which is is adding special file characters where they shouldn’t be. Do a search of your file and you can easily find the quotation marks in the csv file by using the find next button , see attached

Thanks Jill, there will be a 4.4.10 version out as well, Lance had to add something for one of our Premier customers. I don’t have the details as yet. I am happy he was able to address the issue so quickly since it is spring break and he has his son. 🙂

That is outside the scope of the current plugin and would be a customization. You would need to send a request for a quote with the details through the Paid customization “contact us” form and include details, specifics and the developer would give you a quote. The project start date wouldn’t be until May since he has other paid custom development projects going on.

First….The EXP 4.4.09 pre release is out, since you have a test site can you download and test on your site, I have done so on mine and it is fixed.
The question about states under countries that would be possible I believe in Premier, let me double check that first, I know there was someone who was asking for that feature before, so I will get back to you on that one ok.
Lance just posted the article about the background ” zoom control” that and it will be fixed in next release of SLP later this week
No Problem, I just ran through the test, I didn’t have 4.4.08 but 4.4.07 but when I updated to 4.4.08 was able to re-create the issue as well.
, I have alerted Lance that this is an issue, it appears to be specific to the state drop down Widget.

Could you provide your complete Plugin environment, including your themes, you mentioned you have CSS, what is your php versions etc, (a screenshot of environment would be good. see the Posting guidelines)
I am not able to recreate that issue with SLP 4.4.35 and the EXP 4.4.08 and/ or just SLP 4.4.35 on its own without the EXP or any add-ons activated. We want to get to the root cause if it is SLP issue or unique to your configuration or set-up or style
There is an area about no Map displaying it is in the Troubleshooting section, And alsd info on how to debug to isolate the issue. We are revamping the documentation site so apologize if you were not able to find it.
