Migration is never an easy task. (Just ask Mother Nature….:-) ) It took the developer many hours when he updated to SSL, ditto with Sucuri updates and domain changes.
You can download the SLP core plugin pre release under Products for free.
Just sent you a zip file for pre release via we transfer hope that worked. Dont forget, not to use on live site. oh wait you might need the SLP pre release too, let me know if you got that file first
Ok, Hey we’ve been doing a lot of testing and apparently Google API changed their algortihms again. They do this trying to get sites to use their expensive google ads and business platforms. So the append feature always used to work for me and suddenly stopped working. Lance has written a new short code to be put on the actual search/map WP page. I just finished testing it on both my Costa Rica and Australia pages. As long as people enter a real postal code for the actual area they are searching it works. This has been added to the EXP pre release 4.8.2. beta 3. The shortcode will be [slplus append_to_search=”<blah>”] . I believe he will add this to Experience add-on. Normally he only adds new features to Premier but this is yet another work around Google monopolizing and throwing false search results for third party APIS.
Not sure how to get the Pre release to you under the circumstances of being blocked with your mail server. They are zip files so I didn’t think they’d be too big. I cant add them to your account either. Have you given the premier subscription offer anymore thought?
There was some sort of issue with your subscription from last December. I can’t follow the trail to see what happened. I re-added Power and Experience to your account. Please check and see if you can download from your account and then deactivate under your Plugin panel, delete and reload. I’ll have to look into the Premier payment and subscriptions, PayPal had some glitches earlier this year. Please send an email to support if you still cannot see access and if you could include a copy of your Premier renewal payment (it appears it may have lapsed Sept 2016 and a subsequent payment made in Dec??) so they can follow up, would be appreciated.

There are no lifetime subscriptions. They are annual fees. If they did not pay their annual renewal fee for premier they will not be able to upgrade nor have access to premier features. If I knew the name on the account I could check to see if they have an Active Premier subscription. It is a $275 a year renewal fee to maintain the Premier subscription
You might need to deactivate Power and download it again from their account once that is done you would delete the old version and upload the new one manually. I do not know about Premier, as I mentioned, I cannot see if they have paid their renewal fee without additional information.
Search by name is done with the Experience add-on
Update your versions of all three. Plus you are showing as if you have Premier subscription but I cannot find any Premier or orders under your name. Assume you do not want to share the plugin environment under the SLP INFO tab….(that is what is requested not necessarily a screenshot of your WP plugins per se) or the url because you are asking for a clients site and not your own??
As far as import header fields either or sl_tag or tags should work. The header rows that require would be sl_id. We had to list the data field headers both ways because some people were and still are using old SLP versions. Have you checked the new docs site? The you tube videos? Here is the use media libray youtube video , if you are looking for icon media.
I do not understand which “Image” you are speaking of. Your images can be loaded into the WP media library and you would get your url there. You have not shown your plugin environment so I do not know if you have the Experience add-on and/or if you are looking for the “image until search” feature for instance. Please refer to the posting guidelines in the future so that our answers can be complete.

When you made the changeover did you make sure all other plugins and your theme were using updated as well? Your Javascript in one of your plugins or themes is breaking SLP. Yu must use the debugger to track it down. All jquery versions must be 1.12 or above in order for the MAP to work and display. See the Troubleshooting guide for more information.

This is fixed with Power 4.8. 2 which is due to be released once testing is complete
I was not yelling. The capital letters for the word back up is for visibility and importance. No one is pushing for Premier. If you wish to use the SLP version 4.7.11 or above and keep the functionality you must have purchased one of the newer add-ons. The fix is simple. Do not update SLP beyond the version that you currently have. The documentation provides these instructions. The suggestion to buy Premier is just a suggestion if you need both Power and Experience add-on. You can buy those add-ons separately, they are not subscriptions. Your frustration is understandable but you have not provided the details as to what you need from me for information.. You have” glommed ” onto another person’s post and have not provided any information for us to be able to assist you individually. We ask that you read the posting guidelines. it states, you should always start a new post with your plugin environment and url. Gunnar may have a different configuration then you, additional plug-ins that are not related, etc..
If there are no updates to add-ons because they are now considered non-supportable /compatible with newer versions of SLP and the explanation concerning what Legacy is and which add-osns do work with newer versions of SLP there is nothing I can say in this forum to help you. It appears you are adding onto another’s post simply to bitch. That is not the intent of forums and not appreciated nor helpful.
SLP and Experience beta pre release versions are in testing. Hopefully fix will be by end of the week. It depends on the developers schedule and passing testing
Current bug fixes to the Experience add-on are being tested in pre release beta versions and with SLP 4.8.3 beta version . If you have a dev site and or staging site that you can test the pre-releases with please download and let us know any issues on the SLACK channel (Charleston Software Associates) #talk-about-slp.

We have just discovered an issue with the APPEND search feature. I use one of the non US google Map domains so that if I search for Australia for instance it will come back correctly, even if I have locations in the US it isn’t a problem having the map domain set as Australia. (Since our zip codes are longer the search results come back correctly if searching US).
the append search and another bug is being fixed and tested with the EXP beta version 4.8.xx. If you have a dev site you can download the pre-release to test the fix. Please note: Using pre release versions is not advised on production or live sites
Try this in the meantime, I had same issue with Australia….if you only have locations in the one country, here are two methods I used in the interim as workaround:
Set the Google Map domain to Austria , in my test trial for Australia I needed to set the Google MAP domain to Australia since the append feature wasn’t working. Of course Google is fickle, they have changed their map search for third parties algorithms so many times it seems impossible to keep up with the work arounds. Thank you again fro your attention to these types of issues. BTW the developer is asking questions of developers concerning potential other Platforms in an effort to keep his other project MYSLP SaaS relevant to meet a wider audience. If you see an email about this from support they would really appreciate a few seconds of your time.
Funny you should mention this because I have just been testing the Append issue as a follow up to another customer and reported it to Lance. I checked the debugger and he checked his dev site. Somehow that functionality was dropped with EXP add-on. He just replied to me a few seconds ago that he is fixing in next EXP release. The EXP pre-release beta version is now 4.8.2 so I’m sure he will be asking me to help test 4.8.3 beta version. If you have a dev or staging site and wish to help us test, please send support an email and we will get you hooked up and you may be eligible for a discount on products.
Yes that feature will work on the browsers we have tested. Chrome was the one browser that required SSL so you should be good to go.
If you were using ProPack and updated SLP to v 4.8, ProPack will bot be enabled.

Did you update to Power 4.8? There was a bug with tags discovered by one of our Premier customers who was using similar process as what you had described and it is fixed in the next release undergoing testing now version 4.8.2.
Currently versions 4.8.2 in beta testing for Power, SLP, Premier and experience add-on are undergoing testing so that they can be released for Production this week
If you have a staging or dev site could you upload the Pre release beta versions and see if that fixes your problems? Lance needs as many people as possible to assist in testing these updates. I can offer you a discount for another add-on if you could assist us in testing. Are you referring to Location sensor? The Location sensor is also dependent on your site security and browser used.
Power add-on includes the functionality .
P.S. ProPack is not supported with SLP version 4.8
