Could it be something in your theme? I cant see what is going on in your site and cannot recreate the issue on my site. If you send a support ticket via the support form with all the details about versions of plugins etc the developer might be able to help you. If he needs to log in to see your back end that is under a paid support in the form

Check your other Plugins or theme that may also be using the Google MAP API ket in the functionality That message usually will appear if you have a plug-in (or a theme) that has embedded a Google MAP API key in it https://docs.storelocatorplus.com/blog/general-settings/

    Hi Amanda,
Thanks for letting us know it is working. Do you have the experience add-on where you can change the layouts in Search, results, map and/or add CSS?

Oops sorry, you said you do not have any Add-ons? I was thinking of a different customer when I answered you.

So the first suggestion, using the debugging tool and sending a log.

    The debugging info is here

    Hi suzanne,
screenshots of the page do not provide me enough information. Can you turn on debugging and send the debug log to support to look at?

When updating via imports, if you have an existing location it would have been assigned an sl_id, the sl-id header column would need to be included with the correct location id to edit via imports. Assuming you do not want to edit each item manually. See the CSV and duplicates handling section.

Rene, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We supported the legacy add-ons as long as possible. We offered coupons for a year after they made purchases for people to update. SLP sent out mass email offerings to customers who bought Legacy add-ons in that year. No Legacy add-ons were discontinued for a year. We do not believe anything that was done could be considered dishonest. Looking at your site, you appear to be a web hosting company. Assume a web hosting company has paying clients? Multiple clients?Do you provide free updates and services for the lifetime of their product after one of your customers paid you? It is clearly outlined in the EULA that the plugin add-ons are to be used one per site. Please provide a list of your clients and we can offer them personal services. You have not provided the url for the site you are using the add-ons for.

You can also try rolling back WP update and SLP to earlier versions that will work with the add-on you purchased over 2 years ago. Have a great Tasmanian day!

    Hi Boone,

that would require customization. The developer will need to know the exact specs case scenario before he can accurately quote you the number of code days required. For example, should the dropdown show ALL categories? Or just those on the “include list”?

Any customization work requires the premier subscription purchase and he works forward from there with communicating with you the exact case scenario.

Hi, Do you have the Enable Contact fields in the back end under General/Data checked off? Do you have the import messages log checked off so we can see what is importing? Are you using current versions of the plugins?

I just imported this (see attached file) with these fields and the Notes data imported fine. I cant test your particular one pout because it is a screenshot. I would need a CSV file in order to inspect your fields.

See the Import message log that shows what was imported as well as the header fields.

I am using Chrome and not having any issues editing my locations. That is strange. I spoke to the developer and he said
“You can no longer use the back button in the browser and re-edit something, among other changes. This is part of the security patch I had to put in to satisfy WordPress”

    Try clearing your cache.

@Suzanne how were you using the Location form in the back end, the original poster said they couldnt edit it, but he also had add-ons. What add-on if any to SLP are you using. I tsted SLP v 4.8.7 with multiple edits and no Problems occurred.

You need to have a unique Google API for separate IP addresses. This is the Google API that is required as noted in our getting started guide.

If you have installed the base core SLP plug-in on the other site and it is not geocoding, then there is a whole different issue with your other site. Does it have its own Google API? Are you on a shared server and maxing out the Google query Limits. We really need more information in order to assist you.

Please refer to the How Goggle APi works and other common resolutions under the docs site.

You have not provided enough information. The Premier allows for use across Managed Area Networks. Are you managing all the sites under the same host?

You have not provided the information required to ascertain your specific situation. Please refer to the End User Licensing Agreement. (EULA)

“The general rule of thumb to ensure stability of the product:
Install one license PER BUSINESS site

    alternately ,

with Network Active Multisites you must purchase a Premier subscription.”

Are you managing a Network Active Multisite?

You can use the Append feature if all your locations are in Australia. This would require the experience add-on.
There have been various posts about this and how Google algorithms works. They are supposed to locate under the map domain you are using but Australia seems to have duplicate postal codes.

    https://docs.storelocatorplus.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=858&action=edit
I have a test map for Australia and I use the Append shortcode on that map page. You might also want to change the center map at settings and radius settings.

    See documentation for shortcode information

Because of the WP 4.8.2 auto update, the developer of SLP had to patch the code.

Please update SLP and Power to 4.8.6. SSLP never auto-updates for these reasons. See the authors news article about this unfortunate WP update.

P.S. When posting in forums, please follow the forum guidelines and provide versions etc. A screenshot of the INFO/Plugin environment under SLP works best and provides the information the developer needs if he has to debug. Also provide your page that has the site url locator on it.

    Hello,

Thank you for your question. We do not have that exact style as shown in your example but you can try the directory builder with the map results layout shown as hiding the map . Otherwise it would require working with the developer as a paid customization https://wp.storelocatorplus.com/product/customization/

estimated at 2 code days plus a couple weeks to deliver. if you need it ASAP please contact us at support with specifications and details and the developer will get back with instructions and questions.

SLP version 4.8.6 was released to address the issues caused by WP 4.8.2 auto updates. Experience and Power have also been updated and released. SLP version 4.8.4 released this week fixed the issue you described, further update to 4.8.6 needed to address WP 4.8.2. See news release from the developer
    https://www.storelocatorplus.com/updates-to-address-wordpress-4-8-2-issues/

You can thank WP version 4.8.2 auto update for that. The developer has released a patch as a result. Update SLP and Power to latest version 4.8.6.

The WP 4.8.2 is breaking a lot of plug-ins. All in the name of “security” and the WP community is up in arms. The developer has been forced to change the Power add-on and the core SLP plug-in to 4.8.6 to address the WP changes. This means that anyone who used to use categories such as the Legacy Tagalong add-on will no longer see them and it is not something that SLP did.

See the developers article and fix here

SLP uses PHP 7 and is tested with PHP 7. In fact most of our customers who are also developers use the php 7 version.

My personal test site,( under INFO/ Plugin environment) shows PHP Version:7.0.22-0ubuntu0.16.04.1

    MySQL Version:5.6.29

I do not see any warnings.

Do you have a question specific to SLP? if so could you please provide the information regarding versions, your site url etc.

Make sure your site is backed up before attempting to download any new software updates or plug-ins. (see docs)

Next Download the latest version of the add-on from your account , it should be downloaded as a zip file to your computer.  Deactivate SLP, Deactivate your add-on, delete the old version of the add-on and install the latest version of the add-on from your directory.

    See docuementation
