thanks for the fast reply.

I can’t reproduce the errors that you reported, but they suggest an issue with the Avada theme used on the site.

However, when I switch to the standard Twenty Seventeen theme the problem with the search function is not resolved.

I found out that the search function does work when I press ENTER after the search term, not when I press the Search button.

Hi Cici,

1) Yes I read Lances blog, althoug the video did not come with sound. I used that procedure in a stageing site and it worked OK.

2) For my production site the maintenance provider used the standard “Update now” link that appears behind a plugin in the Plugin dashboard (The list of all installed plugings).

After your message of September 21th I supposed that Lance would resolve the issue in the new release. That does not appear to be the case.

Although there is a work-around, the standard WP update procedure should work flawlessly. I hope that Lance can fix that in a next release.

I attach a screenshot showing that Store Pages are enabled. You can also see that the translation files are not activated, I am testing in the original English version.

In the dashboard column on the left you see that Store pages are not shown as a a menu item.

I am logged in as an administrator.

If that helps, I can create an admin account for you to investigate this on my site (this is a test-version)

Hi Cici,

I have just updated to SLP 4.9.1 (and Power 4.9 + Pages, Contacts) and switched back to English version, but still I am facing the problem that:

• Store Page main menu (in the left sidebar) is missing.
• Store pages are not shown (I have noticed a mismatch between the set value for “Permalink Starts With” and the called value). Manually correcting the called url does not show the existing Store Pages either.
• In the Locations List, in the field Pages URL, the URL has the wrong starting value, the option to Edit is not allowed (“no permission” warning), the Edit to View doesn’t show the page.

Hope you can advise how to resolve this…

Hi Cici,

in my Store locator version 4.7.4, that selector box is empty. Your reply does however help me to solve the issue. I have copied my ithemes_herschel css file to the /store-locator-le/css/ folder to see that it then appears in the selector options.
