    Hi Cici,

I have determined and corrected the issue. I had a setting to defer Javascript execution using WP Rocket for performance optimization. Turning that setting off on the pages used for SLP fixed the issue.

The SSL error you noted, was actually just a file that was served via CDN and was missing as file structure changed on a recent theme update, so I am 2 for 2 fixing errors today and no longer need support.

Thank you for your time and prompt response. Have a nice day!

I understand the challenge. We really need two different databases/maps. One for Support Groups and another for Members. We have different rules for displaying different data for the two types of locations. I am attempting to use one database for two very different maps and additionally a text listing of locations, so they will be SEO friendly. A location in the database is not indexed unless it is always displayed on the page.

I’ll let my client know about the limitations. It is working for the most part, but the category selector may not work for us.

One more question – now that I can see the category options, I notice the only option that lets a user select more than one category at a time is “Checkboxes Horizontal” and “Checkboxes Vertical”. I really prefer the button bar, which shows the custom markers, but it only allows me to select one category at a time. Is there a way to have both the custom markers and select more than one category to search?

FWIW – This is important because I can’t show certain information for one category, but need to show it for other categories. For example, I can’t show the street address for Support Groups as their meeting location changes, so only city, state is displayed. I display full addresses for Facility Members and Hospital Members and will be adding another category for Partners that will be included with Members, but Support Groups will remain on its own map/category.

I am currently using Default, although I tried a few options with no luck. I checked my shortcode, which was this:
    [SLPLUS only_with_category=”facility-member,hospital-member”]

Then, I changed it to this, to see if it made a difference:
    [SLPLUS]
It totally makes a difference – the categories appeared as they should, except that it now includes a third category that I do not want on this map.

So, I guess the question now is, how can I limit the categories and still get the category selection to show up?

I will try deactivating to update. Thanks.

I will investigate the results layout to see if that is part of the issue. We have been using SLP for a long time and may have older styles that need to be updated, but I am afraid I might lose some things if I do, so I will test it in a staging site. The weird thing is, I think it was working fine a month ago, but this time when I updated our locations I noticed it wasn’t sorted alphabetically. Maybe it is just an update needed.

I only want to immediately show all locations on this one page. The other maps only display locations after the user searches.

    Thanks for your support!

I am trying to achieve alphabetical order. The reason I am doing it with shortcodes is because we use the maps on other pages that utilize the radius search. I need a simple dynamic text listing on this page in alphabetical order.

The plugins you noted says “Version 4.9.7 in production” and it doesn’t show an option to update. I am certain that SLP offered an update to 4.9.7 or I wouldn’t have updated to that version. Am I supposed to manually update these plugins or should I wait until all version numbers match before updating in the future?

Under settings it is already set to “Use only when address is entered” but this doesn’t seem to work, even on our other map pages. It always uses radius to search, display and order the results, even if no address is given.

If you look at the shortcodes link you sent, you will find “order_by” but the name of the field shows “store” and it says it must match the database. I tried “sl_store” and “store” and neither worked – it always sorts by radius.

The error you noted is related to our Google Custom Search and should not impact SLP.

That makes sense. I have run into this recently for some theme updates. Apparently hosts are not keeping up with minimum requirements and developers are learning the hard way. Thank you for your quick response. I apologize for not including the screen shot. My site was down on the first post, and then I forgot to send one after it was working again.

Thanks again for the fast support!

Update – I put the backup of the last version back on the server and activated it. The map is showing and working fine again, so there must be something in 4.4.34 that causes the fatal error (regardless of theme and without any other plugins). We are running the latest version of everything including WP and the Genesis framework – no updates available except for Store Locator Plus now.
