Organizing Categories

The developer who constructed our corporate site arranged our categories in the incorrect order. Is there any way to rearrange categories so they show in a different order on the front end? Running SLP 4.9.12 & Experience/Power/Premier (all 4.9.11).

You can rank them within the category manager

I already have them ranked 1, 2, 3 but they are showing up on the page as 2, 1, 3. Right now the categories are “Cargo Max” (ranked as 2), “Docks & Lifts” (ranked as 1), “Versa Max” (ranked as 3). I want “Docks & Lifts” to be the first category in the list, but it’s showing up second. https://floeintl.com/dealer-locations/

The ranking only effects the map markers and results…not the search box category selector, I misunderstood what you were asking about.

After looking at your link. You are asking to rearrange the “Search by category selector ” is that correct? you currently have the checkbox vertical selected.

By default that is going to be shown alphabetical.

If your developer is skilled using CSS,jquery, and the theme you are using allows for it, they might be able to write some rules to change the layout of how the selector orders them.
