I don’t seem to be able to select a marker for a location.
The Use Media Image button doesn’t appear to load the media library.
And selecting one of the markers from the grid below doesn’t do anything either.
I can ‘paste’ in the URL path to a marker as a work around but this is not ideal for the client.
Am I missing something?

Are you trying to add different markers per edit or when you add a new individual locations? That field in the ind location section for map marker is not allowed.
You need to select the marker under Map settings for either home or location marker. The only time you can override markers would be for a category. example, you want category icon or marker to be shown instead of a location marker.
Not sure i am understanding your issue. I just updated my test site to the versions including WP 5.1 I went to Settings/Map, changed home marker to one that is incl in the plugin and saved, went to the location marker, and used media image and saved. Both are displaying correctly.February 26, 2019 at 2:41 PM #58809
Could you let me know if you are trying to add the markers individually the way i described it? I am talking to the developer to see if he can patch it so that you can choose to change the marker on a per location basisFebruary 26, 2019 at 4:16 PM #58810
Thank you for getting back so promptly Cici
I was adding a new location but I think I misunderstood.
On my location csv import I set a url path under the ‘marker’ column.
Then I set the category marker.
When I added a new location I was trying to select the appropriate marker.
But it appears that the marker takes its colour from the category checkbox – which is perfect.
Sorry to waste your time.
