Simon GriffithsParticipant
Hi Again,
I am just trying to work out how to sort this site out after the change that has obviously taken place at some point.
However, I should note that
https://docs.storelocatorplus.com/blog/slplus-shortcode-options/#allow_addy_in_url
seems to show that this is still a feature of the experience addon which we have. At the moment this does seem to load the address into the SLP search box, but doesn’t do the search. This means that you get the confusing address in the search box with results underneath that which aren’t based on the search box. Obviously not great user experience!
There are obviously way around this, but I am loathed to start developing some in page php if the feature I am using has been removed too. For example, if I use the <span class=”crayon-v”>center_map_at shortcode option and use a do_shortcode in php so I can extract the url parameters will this then work or has the center_map_at also been removed from the current version?
</span>Cheers
Simon
Simon GriffithsParticipantActually I did. I built the site around it and it has been working for a long time. This site is actually many years old and actually predates SLP by some margin and I was using this feature a long time ago when it first got added.
Saying that, when was this feature taken out?
Simon GriffithsParticipantHi Guys,
I am running on a developement server and updated SLP to version 4.8. It has deactivated the old versions of the power and experience plugins, but there is no automatic update showing. Although I have downloaded the 4.8 versions of power and experience, if I upload those manually, I’m guessing it will wipe out all the changes I have been working on.
Any advice on how to update without losing my changes?
Thanks
