JonParticipant
You may have watched the video but you haven’t answered the questions it posed.
Specifically, how/where do I effect what displays beneath the search box prior to submitting a search? How do I get rid of the “view all” hyperlink? How do I display our locations alphabetically by state (alphabetically)
I’m NOT talking about the results that display after a search, but what displays before a search is submitted.
JonParticipantJonParticipantThanks for all responses over the weekend.
I presume Steiner goes to a new map because that location does not have a website? You’ll notice the next listing, Richardton Dental Clinic, opens the client’s website.
So, do I need some sort of “if/when” statement in the coding?
Thanks.
JonParticipantWould you please provide step-by-step instruction, or provide link to a tutorial, showing:
- how to categorize locations
- how to apply the appropriate category to each individual location
I have Power Add-on and Experience Add-on.
JonParticipantAs you can see from attached screen shot, I’m told my import executed but they don’t show up in the locations.
JonParticipantIs the Category Manager a part of the Experience Add On?
Asking because I found this response:
Tagging Locations
“Tagging” locations can be done one of two ways. The informal method is to use free-form tags that are setup via the Power add on under the Experience tab. The structured method is to use the Category Manager under the Categories tab.
The Categories Manager is almost-always the better solution. It uses the WordPress taxonomy system to link categories to locations. It supports hierarchical category structures and allows map markers and icons to correlate to the category. It is the best way to assign custom map markers and icons to locations for things like “services provided” or products.
