How to show different categories in results

Hi, we are using the Experience upgrade to make different colored pins and to set some locations as featured. Is there a way to create more than one category, like if we wanted gold, silver, etc.. for different locations. Would I have to upgrade?

Categories are managed via the Power add-on  and/or Premier not by Experience.
