So I would have to spend more than the 250 I already have?
CPMSpectatorHello… Sorry, I was off work for the past few days.
I see now, the categories are linked and they show up via an Icon on the map as well as the location where that category is, gets listed under the map.
I have provided another screenshot with an awful writing of the word “Category” in the area that I am talking about. I just need the category to show up within that little box area for each location. Each location has its own category that would show up.
To answer your question: “how I got the date to appear in the middle section” (where I would love the category to show up too) I traded out the “Fax” column but kept the header as Fax, with the date information. Then doing the following, I got it to show up with the label “Date”
1. Go to Plugin
2. Select Experience
3. Select Results
4. Scroll down to “Labels” and put a custom label.
This leaves me to ask, is there a way to add an additional Text column for the label section just mentioned??? That would fix my issue! I can’t get the categories to work within any of the other labels and if I could add one more row, that would be GORGEOUS!
CPMSpectatorI will let the creators of Enfold know that you see all sorts of errors with their theme. They are very responsive. I think you shared above what tool you are using to see these errors (here). I will pass it along.. Overall though, I keep my site clean in that I don’t use a lot of plugins, and when I do, it comes from a company where I can trust they are not a fly by night. Anywho, I’ll talk to the theme creator to see what’s up. Everything should be good- or an easy fix at best. Thx!
I can work out the map situation. Thanks for the 411
Right now, I’m still wanting to know how to utilize categories. I can turn off my map, if that is what it will take to find an answer. I would like for my categories to link to my locations and for the category to show up in the information section, as shown in the screen shot provided in my second post.
please give me steps.. thank you!
CPMSpectatorMy theme is clean (well, it should be…) I use Enfold, and they have a built-in map that uses the Google API as well. I need both that feature (which I can’t uninstall) as well as your plugin because they do two different things. What I might be able to do is, use a completely different API for the one built into my theme.
I didn’t realize you just needed to know “Php” info. I keep both my server and websites updated, as current as possible.
See attachment
In the end, your plugin is working great. I just need to have categories show up as shown in the attachment on my last post, and for categories to link to their locations.Thank you,
ACPMSpectatorHello, Is there a reason no one is responding? I emailed and was told to write here, and I have a broken site and was looking for a new Store Locator plugin. Found yours, and gave my money openly but I just need some help to finalize the installation per our need. Thank you!
CPMSpectatorHere is the link to where you can see what I am talking about, click here
1. You will see below the map, the locations. I want the category that is assigned to each of those locations to show up within that information area. Attached is a screenshot as well
2. The categories are not linking to their locations. The categories were imported with their locations so not sure why they are not linked. You can look on the link I submitted and see in the search field how they don’t link to anything. I get the error “no location found”
Not sure what “Legend is” and yes I checked off “Show icon array”.
I have not done anything fancy in terms of setting up, so most everything is the default settings.
As for plugins, I purchased for 250$ the Store Locator Plus -POwer
