Store locator is loading extremely slowly

I hope you can help me out on this. My clients store locator is loading very slowly. How can I change or fix that? Or is this something we can’t change, due to the large amount of stores that are in there?

I believe I answered this but perhaps it did not register in the forum. The loading is dependent on your host provider, server , and not as much with number of locations. you can limit the number of locations to show in results. Properly configuring your PHP will also help
