Hi,

I just discovered that the search function in the admin table Locations -> List does not work (does not react). I see this problem with SLP 4.9.21 and with 4.9.22.

Do you have any idea how this can be resolved?

    Regards,

    Toon

On your site page “Vind Therapist’ you have two fatal errors that could effect your CSS and search form if it is interfering with SLP Javascript..

. Access to font at ‘https://hypnotherapie.nl/wp-content/themes/Avada/includes/lib/assets/fonts/icomoon/icomoon.woff’ from origin ‘https://www.hypnotherapie.nl’ has been blocked by CORS policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource.

    Hi Cici,

    thanks for the fast reply.

I can’t reproduce the errors that you reported, but they suggest an issue with the Avada theme used on the site.

However, when I switch to the standard Twenty Seventeen theme the problem with the search function is not resolved.

I found out that the search function does work when I press ENTER after the search term, not when I press the Search button.

Hmm, strange, I will check with Lance and see if this is resolved in the soon to be released/published SLP version 5. I recall there being a similar issue with one site using the MYSLP SaaS software but that was using a SLP 5.0 beta 2 version which hasn’t been released to general public as yet.

I just tested SLP 4.22 with using the search button (Find Locations) and it is responding correctly. I also tried by entering text in search box and enter afterward and it also responded I am using standard WP themes but I also have Experience and Premier installed. Sudden search box issues often indicate a problem with javascript caused by themes or another plugin.

    See javascript errors

Those errors I mentioned were when I visited the site and used the browser developer tools, inspect/console.

Any additional info you can provide would be great. i.e Have you tried running the WP debugger? if so could you provide the debug log. (Make sure you clear any previous messages from earlier debug reports, we often have people send us debug logs that are outdated or have included old messages from previous test.)

Do you have a special plugin style you are using so I can test that as well to see if anything is broken there?

I note above you are not showing EXP add-on so assume you may not have any CSS added?
