Search By State Not Working & Zoom Issue

Search by state isn’t working. Always reverts to searching the state of Illinois. Search by zip code or address works fine.

Additionally, when selecting a result/state/searching a zip code the zoom level doesn’t change and stays at the nationwide level. I feel like this isn’t how it’s supposed to work? I have tried several different settings for zoom adjustment, from -10 to +19 with no change in results.

Discovered what this issue was caused by.

Went to:

Experience – Search – SELECTOR BEHAVIOR

I had it set to Disable Address When Using Selector. Returning that to it’s default setting of ALLOW SELECTOR AND ADDRESS INPUT has resolved this.

Thank you for sharing your resolution in case others run into problems.

There are a lot of moving parts so depending what else you have set it can influence the starting state, zoom level, etc.
