Search Bar Widget

Hey I’m having troubles with the widget search bar http://gasbottlerefills.com/.The problem is that if you search while being in the home page, the home marker in the map (the house icon) doesn’t appear. However if you go to the “find cheap gas” page and you enter the address in there, the home marker appears.
Does anyone have an idea why it wouldn’t appear when using the widget?  Has anyone encountered this problem? I thought all it did was to redirect to the map page an enter the suburb, so I don’t get why it wouldn’t work.

Widgets has not been updated and is not going to be updated as it is now part of the Experience Add-on..

The new Widgets feature is part of the Experience Add-on.

I gave you the link for documentation, what are you asking for?  The code?  You can see it with developer tools  it is open source
