For some reason, I can’t comment on my previous forum topic, so I had to create another one.
This is still broken. I had to restore from a backup to downgrade my WordPress core and the plugins. That worked for awhile (which is probably what you saw when you said it seemed to be working, @cici), but automatic upgrades broke the sites again last night or this morning.
What is your recommended solution?
December 12, 2017 at 3:05 PM #55511CiciKeymasterThe forums, BB press is doing something wacky. I know Lance had to update Woocommerce and Jet Pack.
Are you seeing error messages when you are trying to update SLP? Lance did some updates to SLP to 4.9.2, did you try that one or which one could you not update?
Notes from Lance’s post yesterday to address WP 4.8.3 data queries.https://www.storelocatorplus.com/store-locator-plus-4-9-2-delete-locations/

Lance fixed some things in SLP 4.9.2 due to changes that were not announced by WP when wp 4.8.3 auto updated everything. See his news Post here on developer notes.

I do not see your plugin environment and do not know if you are having other javascript issues on your site. I recall last time there were some error messages..
I need the site url and current versions in order to delve into it further. The one site you had mentioned before, blue seal…has a fatal error . It is using outdated jquery

I do not know what version of WP you rolled back to, or if your themes or other plugins are using outdated jquery, you need 1.12 at minimum or SLP and WP will not work correctly not to mention the security patches that had been released. I am not all for auto updating WP, the developer does not advise auto updates and SLP does not do them. Every time WP has a major version release they immediately have two or three fixes and patches as a result.
I cannot troubleshoot the site as it currently exists. Sorry, I can imagine you are frustrated, the developer has also noticed issues with WP updates breaking sections of code and he has had to go back and recode portions of SLP and add-ons.
