    I’ve been attempting to import locations using a .csv file.

    I made one location, exported it, and used that file as a template.

    I continually get this error, “2016-12-05 09:16:33 :: import :: CSV File Meta not set.”

    I tried using the example file from the troubleshooting pages (https://s3.amazonaws.com/storelocatorplus/locations/csv/wp_locations.csv)   without any edits and it gave the same error message.

    After trying Excel and Google Sheets to save as .CSV comma delimited and UTF-8, I finally tried using regular old Notepad and saving as “all files” and it worked. Just thought I would post this in case some else runs into the same issue.

    That indicates you have control characters or non-printable characters in your CSV file which is breaking the CSV format.
