Hello there – I’ve just purchased Power this morning.

It let’s me activate it, but then as soon as I click on anything it automatically deactivates.

Apologies if I haven’t done something obvious!

Hi Toby,

I am confused. You purchased “Power addon”  to test on a development site? It hasnt been released yet for production sites. There are no orders in our system for it.

This is strange,  the purchase now should not have worked as yet. It isn’t supposed to be in Production as yet, it is still in Alpha release.. Do not use it on a production site,  please send an email to support so that we can coordinate with you.

Okay – I’ve sent you the confirmation email and paypal receipt to the charleston email address.

In light of this not being active yet (my mistake I should have spotted this) I’ve just bought tagalong – please could you refund the power purchase.

Hi Toby,

I replied to your email. If you want to use Power on your development or staging  site go under the General Admin Panel and change SLP Plugin Updates to pre release so you will see the pre releases versions available for updating. . The Power add-on will automatically disable ProPack, Directory builder and Pages if you have those installed. I currently have the latest Power pre release installed it is now at 4.5. alpha 007

Do not use the Power add-on with your Production (live) site as it is not fully tested and debugged.

I believe when you purchased that,  the pre release may have  been  alpha 001 or 002, and I had the same issue.  See my email about options if you wanted to sue the add-ons individually on a production site in the meantime.
