Have just updated SLP and WordPress to latest versions also Pages, Propack, Tagalong.
The map now loads centered on country and it was loading centered on current location using geo locator. Have looked through settings and can’t find where to turn this back on. Any help please.

Clicking on the greyed out question mark is the read me help:
This turns on the location sensor (GPS) to set the default search address. This can be slow to load and customers are prompted whether or not to allow location sensing.
June 9, 2016 at 6:06 AM #41506Francisco CarlosParticipantHi Cici,
Is there a way to have working at the same time “use location sensor (Pro Pack)” and “Show Locations At Startup” ?I expected to work as follows:
- the browser asks whether I want to be located.
- If I agree:
- the map is shown centered at the current location and the zoom level is as chosen at “Zoom Level”.
- The markers inside the chosen ‘ Radii Options’ are shown.
- If I do not agree or my browser is not able to locate me:
- the map is zoom out to accommodate all the markers found following the options “Number To Show Initially” & “Radius To Search Initially”
What I get is:
If I only use “use location sensor”:
- the map is shown centered at the current location and the zoom level is as chosen at “Zoom Level”.
- my users have to press “Find locations” to see the markers.
If both, “use location sensor” and “Show Locations At Startup” , are ticked:
- the map appears centered at the current location but No Markers are shown.
- after a couple of seconds the map is ‘zoom-out’ to accommodate all the markers found following the options “Number To Show Initially” & “Radius To Search Initially”

Your Plugin Environment information would be useful here along with your site url. I will attempt to answer you (not knowing what you have installed or versions)
Set “disable initial directory” and the map will only load after search is performed might be preferable for you,
2) taking too long to load you map markers. , See the questions and answers and technical details in this older forum post:
How long it takes can be attributable to how many results you have to show at startup, how your local browser and local Internet speed, and Google server response times, etc..
For other Info:
The Location sensor determines the default starting point for the search. Location sensor may not work in all browsers.
